The first time I made an appointment, the young lady at the front desk patiently translated for me, because I don't know much English. I am very grateful to her, and the doctor who pulled my tooth was also very good, with good skills and no pain at all. Thank them.

Went because I had a toothache, I’m a student and was worried about money but Xin wang was super nice and helped me get the best price as well as being super sympathetic. Super great will come back if I have any problems

I got an appointment with the dentist by contacting the clinic by phone as soon as possible. The dentist made a filling. I think that the new filling needs to be polished better, so I plan to go to this clinic again. I also plan to put an implant in this clinic, if the price suits me. The staff was polite and friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful. The receptionist has a magnificent aquarium and the fish fascinated me.

Gday, many years ago I had terrible experiences with dentists and have left attention to wisdom tooth issues for far, far too long.
MC Dental had the job of removing two wisdom teeth, on two visits, one week apart.
I had sleepless nights before visit one, due to the worry.
My dentist was attentive, explained exactly what was going to happen and built rapport with me.
This all eased some of my concerns and may I say, on both visits, I really do not know why I was so concerned.
Brilliant dentist, thank you! Both visits!

If you have concerns going in, as I certainly did, please don’t, these guys are stunning people, I just wish I’d gone in years earlier!

The most unprofessional dentist experience I have ever had. Whilst having my procedure, an older women (whose job role wasn’t entirely clear, wife of the dentist perhaps?) entered and began talking with the dentist about a personal appointment they had. She then preceded to comment on how the patient in the next room had ‘wussed out’ of getting a tooth removed. Shockingly, the dentist replied ‘she probably can’t afford it’. Absolutely no respect for myself or the other patient.
After my appointment was complete, I asked the same woman (who in the end told me her name was Grace) to ensure my receipt stated that it was an emergency to which she began raising her voice and being incredibly rude stating that I had asked at the wrong time. After arguing with both myself and my partner, she finally agreed to complete the task. In the end, the task took 5 minutes and was unbelievable to think she caused such a scene about it.
I would recommend to anybody to rethink visiting this unprofessional, unwelcoming dentist surgery.

Very professional and friendly. Was calm and had me at ease. I was concerned and anxious but it was a very relaxing experience.

First time visiting today for a full check up. The online booking system was easy to use and the reception team were welcoming. Dr Pou Shoung Ma was great. He was very thorough, explained everything clearly and gave options.

Waited over 30mins for appointment and the price was charged higher than initially explained. The quality was poor.

Definitely the best dentist I have been to very friendly and most importantly they know what they are doing I needed an emergency procedure I called 5 other dentist in my area that did not see me then I called,
MC Dental and they seen me right away and took my pain away definitely recommend them 100%

The doctor will tell u all the processes before the treatment of the action and trying to use your language to make me understand the situation. And the receptionist is kind.

OH MY GOD is dental expensive in Australia, but Dr. Pou Shoung Ma has given me the most comfortable experiences I’ve ever had. He gave me examinations which no other dentist’s I’ve met has ever given me in a sense that, out of all the dentists I have been to, he knew exactly what was wrong with my teeth. All the dentists I have been to has never told me what was wrong with me, dentally, which has deteriorated my oral health deeply. He patiently and very informatively explained everything to me and knowing I was on a budget, he did not force me to do any additional procedures. Given me alternatives and was very friendly, often cracking jokes to make sure I was comfortable.

However, I would have given a 5 stars rating if it wasn’t for the two receptionist who (I personally was not involved in) were making faces & bad mouthing patients after they ended their phone call with them or after they left. I understand hospitality is a difficult job but bad mouthing patients where others can see or hear is not very professional, especially when it makes you think about what they could saying about you next when you leave because if it can happen to other patients, what makes you think it won’t happen to you kind of situation. I have just read about the other reviews and most of them were about the receptionists and how the person replying to the feedback is just apologizing and telling the reviewer that they will talk to management about it when we all know that nothing has been done. I can predict a copy and paste reply for this so I don’t really appreciate it. Just make some action about it. I’m not expecting anyone to be removed but if you want to bad mouth patients, do it over drinks after work or when there are no patients. There’s absolutely no meaning for the doctors to be nice and friendly in a appealing office when the receptionists are being unprofessional. This was at Mc Dental CBD on 14/9/2022.

I am truly disappointed with the service provided. I had an appointment with Dr. Denise Chang almost a month ago, and I told the doctor that I had cavities. When I came into the room, she briefly take a look at my teeth and said that there’s nothing wrong with it and everything is normal. At that time I was so confused cause I’m pretty sure I felt something is not right with my tooth. But I didn’t want to offend the doctor and just trust her as a doctor. And I have to pay $90 for those 5-10 minutes consultation for just having the doctor to take a look at my teeth and say everything is okay. What really upset me is that recently I went to another dentist to check on my teeth again and they found the problem and turns out I have three cavities. So, I wasted my money for nothing at MC Dental (melbourne central) for what? Its really upsetting.

Unprofessional and completely wasted our time. Had a consultation several months ago to start my daughter on an orthodontist plan for braces. Waited months for todays appointment to finally get her braces. Went in today and to be only told that the dentist no longer works weekend and hence can no longer proceed with the braces and there were no other dentists available in future. So then why go through with our consultation quote and provide us with a payment plan to proceed? No prior communication was given and no empathy given to a child who had built up the courage to finally get her braces. The staff were all super clueless and obviously didn't care or communicate with each other. You dont need our business we also dont need a team of irresponsible dentists.

Hi, this is Ramandeep. I just got to visit MC dental to get my filling done. Unfortunately, the receptionist behaviour was completely mean and somewhat tried to convince me to visit them again in completely selfish manner. I'm sorry to say but I wasn't there to pay $ 493 just to get this kind of service. Also, my dentist, Rachel and her assistant Ranjana did their job perfectly made me felt comfortable and Rachel told me about student discount but, I don't think I received. Thanks.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Denise Chang today for a check-up and clean. Denise did a great job and was very thorough with both the clean and her examination (i.e. She took time to do an additional x-ray after noticing areas needing more focus/care).

She's also a lovely person who's very warm and approachable - would highly recommend!

The staffs are friendly and very helpful, willing to explain the private insurance matters to me. Dr David Liu is a very nice doctor, explains every steps during the procedure and very professional! I’m certain that I’m in good hands when I’m with Dr Liu.

I had a crown done today by Dr Joshua Tor. Done in 2 hours. No pain, no moulds, new latest technology dentistry. I highly recommend Dr Joshua Tor.

Went to check up, cleaning and filling, had great experience that I ever had before with dentist. Detailed explanation by Dr. Rachel, x-ray and pictures before and after allowed me to fully understand what I had.
