My experience with max employment, has not been enjoyable.every time they called it was a different person. Everytime they would send me a reminder, that I have an appointment the next day. The appointment was on Monday at 10: 30 am eg.but they never sent me an appointment in the first place. They only sent a reminders. Not to mention the person's name, I asked to speake to here manager and she told me she was the manager. Which turns out it wasn't the true. Emotionally I wasn't in a good place. I felt helpless. I'm an elderly person and there is no support. I'm close to retirement age they think they have the power weather you get your Centrelink payment or not. I know they need to make there K P I.
But you also have to have compassion.

Was a client of theirs a year or so ago, and they were totally unaccommodating of my mental health issues and would not let me have my appointments over the phone. Since then, I have been with a different provider who *would* let me have my appointments over the phone - revolutionary. Now I'm at the point where Centrelink has changed my provider back to Max Employment, against my will, without notifying me first, and I have already hit a wall of issues with them. I needed to reschedule my appointment yesterday as I was caught unaware suddenly that this appointment wasn't with my usual provider, over the phone, as usual.but instead in-person, which I am unable to do due to aforementioned mental health conditions. Tried to explain to the lady over the phone, who tried to get through to Narre Warren office and was unable to do so. I sent an e-mail to the Narre Warren office about this, before my appointment time, and have not yet received a reply. I have, however, received a notification from Centrelink that my payment is about to be suspended. I have called again today, to try to fix this situation, and again the lady has not been able to get through to the Narre Warren office. I have also sent another e-mail. I will not be held accountable and lose my payments because incompetent people are hired in place of those who genuinely would love a job. Fix your service.

Had an experience with a lady, where she said she would call back, in 10 minutes, in case it was the wrong email, which it was, & she never called back. Very hard to come in contact, with a group trying to ‘help’. DO NOT go to MAX employment.

Wouldn't recommend MAX employment to anyone. They will provide you with a window of time in which they are supposed to call, but will call outside of that time anyway; feels incredibly unprofessional, and disrespectful. I initially spoke with a man - who, when I communicated my concern for this with - very quickly became rude and condescending towards me. When I spoke with a second lady, and asked if she could put me in contact with someone that I could make a complaint to, she refused, and when I asked for assistance in switching to a new provider (something they SHOULD be able to help me with) I was told that I would have to contact Centrelink personally. Although my experience with them has been quite short-lived, it has all been rather stressful and aggravating. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Writing for Pakenham Max as there is nowhere else to leave a review. The staff are nice enough and very helpful, however one thing I noticed is that they book you in for pointless appointments which I found to be highly inconvenient. I told one of the staff members that I was moving to a new place an hour away and she said Centrelink would then relocate me to another employment provider closer to my new home (which was great) but then she went ahead and booked me in for an appointment with them again anyway? So I go into this next appointment, and I speak to another girl and once again she booked me in for ANOTHER appointment with them in a months time? Luckily I did just land a job but if I didn't I would have had to do a two hour round trip for an appointment. That's insane and not helpful at all! I couldn't understand the logic behind it and I figured by the end of it, that she wasn't really listening to me nor did she care how much of an inconvenience that would be for me and not helpful in regards to finding work at all.
I also found my new work OUTSIDE of their help and their Max platform. If you're looking for work and you end up with these guys, trust me don't use their platform and don't take what they say too seriously. They are polite and somewhat nice but they're not really there to help you.

Never go here!
After joining max's,
Went through set up etc.
Explained & acknowleged by Max's that to go any further i needed a new disability assessment (waiting on centrelink)
Max's continued to make useless appointments (as nothing could be further done until assessment).
Which auto cancel centrelink payment each time if not attended even when i gave
pre-notice /call.
I am still recovering financially years later due to them and would
Advise anyone in need to avoid this place
As they have managed to destroy my life due to lack of communication and professionalism

I have been with them for over 13 weeks only to be told the reason I haven't gotten an internship was MY fault when I have done what they asked of me. Most of the staff seemed like they would not care for you at all、putting up a false pretence. I got told what I was studying was a good hobby and not a job when they have no idea how the industry itself functions. Looking down on me for studying Gaming. Then I'm made to come in every week (when before itbwas fortnightly as that is what I was told) and that they would help me look for a job but it is the complete opposite.: (

I wish they had better appointment times and actually attended to their clientelles on time rather than making them wait for over an hour. Only then to be told things weren't going in order because of my own fault? When I have done what they wanted so far and nothing has been told to me was wrong.

Marlene also needs to focus on one client at a time. Being made to wait for over an hour is ridiculous. Especially if it's over a little 20mins meeting.

Roxy from narre warren is a rude, unprofessional & insensitive b#@^h was supposed to have an appointment & have been on a medical certificate for over a yr with severe depression only to be spoken to discussingly because I said I'm still not fit for work and am just waiting for centerlink to put through my exemption from activities! She should be ashamed of herself as she has no idea of people's mental state. I bet she's lost heaps of clients to suicide! This is disgusting that they have these sorts of people working in places like this! As with most of these agencies all they care about is the thousands of dollars they get from the government not helping people! This whole industry needs to be exposed!

Marleen you are one of a kind! There is only ONE staff member at Fountain Gate who cares. The rest couldn't care less if you were maimed and dead, and would keep breaching and cutting you off until they received the death certificate. Absolutely disgusting that out of them all only ONE person uses their eyes and brain to actually see the person they're SUPPOSED to be helping. Thank you Marleen, without you there Ruma would become even more of a self centred holier then thou power tripping young woman, she obviously hasn't had much life experience. And EVERY time she books in appointment after appointment at the times she knows it can't be adhered to. Eventually there will be enough complaints to have her fired.

Honestly would not recommend going here. The appointments that they give you are ridiculously early, and they don't consult you about the times for appointments. Unless you like to attend 10am appointments to sit and job search for an hour 3 times a week; I would recommend going here. Also, if you want to study later on, best to get a transfer because they won't pay for your schooling from anywhere else besides the RTO's they're contracted with. I had them disapprove of the course I wanted to do until I enrolled anyway and paid the class off myself, that's when they asked me again what course I was doing and it was only then that they approved after I paid for it myself. I would recommend any other job agency except this one. They're all about the money, they won't bother to help you with the things you actually want to do
