Mawson's Bakery Cafe

I was wondering if any one can help me regarding the packets of sliced bread I can't see any baked date or use by date but the loaf I got was not the best does anyone know if the packets of bread are baked there?

Simply the best.
Service is impeccable, pastries, sweets and milkshakes are out of this world.
The only issue is that I don't have enough bags to buy everything I want each visit haha.
The tofu satay pie is without question the best pie I've ever had.
The pure definition of mighty country bakery is Mawsons.
When in Euroa it is a must that you pop in.

Had a delicious meal at the bakery. Yummiest jelly slice, vanilla slice, and pies. Best price for slice bread as well. Will definitely recommend Mawson bakery.

Great spot to walk to break a longish journey. Acacia species today all out bright and flowering. Highly enjoyable.

Everything is delicious, but the fruit cake is a must buy…

Enjoyed my food, however when I was there I heard a lady talking about how she’s been visiting the bakery for 28 years and how she has cancer. I wanted to do something nice for her so I bought a $10 voucher so she can have her next pie and coffee for free. I asked the lady at the counter if she could give the voucher to the lady for me as I didn’t want to make a big scene out of it. When I asked she shook her head and got upset with me and was quiet rude and I was very disappointed, telling me that she couldn’t because there was a lunch rush (4 people in the bakery that hadn’t been served was the “lunch rush”) It has left a sour taste in my mouth and I won’t be coming back.

Pies are inventive and delicious, the cookies are crumbly, soft and delectable it’s a great place to stop and have a nice country lunch

Verdict: one of the best egg and bacon sandwiches I’ve ever had! Coffee was excellent too. Egg and Bacon (with cheese) multi grain. Great service

Best bakery cafe in Euroa. The food is fantastic and the bubbly and cheerful owner Gayle is very welcoming and will put a smile on your face, even early in the morning.

Great country bakery in Euroa very busy. Wonderful pies. The pastry was thin but still held together till the end. Of this delicious beef curry pie. Just enough spice in the meat it was perfect. They make a great vanilla slice as well. It was well worth the detour from the freeway for lunch. The staff were very helpful and friendly even though they had a full shop of hungry customers

This is our pit stop on the way to North East Victoria from Melbourne. The coffee is good and the granny slice and caramel slice are the best!

I’m glad to say whenever I visit the Northeast I head into Euroa for lunch at Mawson’s Bakery. Its one of the best country bakery’s in the area with a wide variety of delicious bakery delights on offer and good old country hospitality that comes with good service.

Rude, rude, rude. Don’t take your bad mood out on customers is my “friendly” advice. Didn’t think it was possible for someone to sigh and roll their eyes so much, whilst being inconvenienced taking my order, which I cancelled and left.

Excellent food. A very busy little bakery in the main street of Euroa. We sat at the tables outside on a very sunny winter's day. Parking can be a problem. Prices were quite reasonable.

Mawson's bakery in Euroa is a beauty! People are very friendly and have a great selection of pies, cakes etc. We had a delicious chicken & sweet corn soup. Recommend for a stop.

Delicious pies! Would recommend chicken satay and lasagne. Also great coffee. Well worth a stop!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The customer service (even after a super busy long weekend) was incredible. Staying open late for customers and putting a pie in the oven for me so it was ready for collect.

Trust me! THE SATAY CHICKEN PIE is the bomb! Amazing! Hooked and will detour every-time for it. Congratulations on what I would classify as one of the best bakery’s in Australia
