I have been privilaged to have been in the hands of Dr. Tony Pastore for the past 6 months, and the support he has provided has been exceptional. He has a supportive, caring and understanding demeanor that has put me to ease, making me feel comfortable to go to each session. He has outstanding qualities, making it easier for me to connect with him, and feel safe in the environment to talk about my struggles.

He has offered great and practical advice and has made it easier for me to move forward in life by giving me excellent life strategies and tools to imrpove my life and to also provide me guidence.

The staff at Mawarra are also wonderful as they are very understanding and helpful and provide amazing service as well as do their job exceedingly well.

I'm grateful and glad I have come across the clinic and would highly recommend it.

Dr Tony Pastore is an awesome treating practitioner. He is professional and thorough in his approach and engagement. I've now been seeing Dr. Tony Pastore for several months now due to a Work related injury. He was very caring & supportive from the beginning and made me feel like he was in my corner at a time when I felt very isolated and everyone was against me.
He will certainly go above and beyond to go into bat for you in your time of need.
I'm so glad that I managed to find him and certainly found the right Psychologist. My GP initially referred me to another Psychologist however I was not able to get an appointment so it worked out for the best. As it turns out my GP knows Dr. Pastore and has referred other patients to him also. There is only one session that I have had that didn't go as well as all the others but I take ownership as my stress & anxiety got the better of me.
I would not hesitate in recommending Mawarra Psychological services if and when their services are required. Thanks very much to Dr. Tony Pastore and his team. The admin staff and in particular Sonja are also very polite and helpful. Keep up the great work.

A few years ago I experienced a horrific life event and after being ‘patient’ with other therapists Dr Tony Pastore is the first that has been truly effective for me. He has been invaluable in helping me take steps to improve my mental wellbeing. He really knows what he is talking about and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

I m one happy and satisfied customer with Mawarra Psychological services. Their services help me a lot and to understand some things better. And showed me and teach me how to look from another point of view when it comes to life and obstacles in the life. I ve been seeing dr Tony Pastore for a quiet of time now, and I can tell he helped me to realise a lot, every single situation that he gave me advice for, at the end I realise he was right and later on where I made mistake with my decisions, I made sure I don t repeat it again, and all because the advice gave me Dr Tony Pastore. He helped me a lot in some situations, and taught me how to look on things in the life from another point of view. I've been seeing Dr Tony Pastore for a couple sessions now and he has been very helpful in aiding me to set goals and be less anxious about my situation. He's a very nice man and gives you tangible step by step advice.

I've been seeing Dr Tony Pastore for three sessions now, the first two sessions were fine, he helped me understand a little more about my emotions and how they connect to my actions etc.

However on the third session with Tony, it was highly unprofessional and extremely condescending, I felt i was trying to debate somebody, in fact he barely let me spoke, I had to speak over him to get a word in. On top of that he gave irrelevant examples comparing me to his daughter, did I ask?
I'm a 20-year-old male there is no similarity between me and his 16-year-old daughter. Doesn't make sense for a psychologist to do such a thing.

He must not understand what I have been through in my life up until this point, i had to go through bullying and tormented by teachers and students constantly, i had fear looming over me of constant failing grades.
On top of that the amount I had to endure a lot of stress throughout school with exams and study while simultaneously dealing with personal and family issues including the loss of my grandfather last year and as well dealing with my parents separation which took a toll on me in the previous years.
I delayed seeking help for a long time and the first i do it, this is how i'm treated? Not fair.

Not once has tony asked about this, he almost downplays the things I had to endure and go through and gives me the impression that I'm perfectly fine and can go out and do everything i ever wanted to without asking me how i was feeling, I did learn a little from his lessons, but it wasn't really helpful, it was obvious things that I learned in highschool, you were to teach me coping strategies and how to overcome my stress, anxiety and depression not make me feel bad and be condescending.

In the future I'll be looking elsewhere for help, if not I'll just be going to set my goals and work towards them, and it doesn't involve being unemployed!
I still recommend people to have a shot but in my experience it didn't work out unfortunately

If I could rate Mawarra Psycological Services higher I would! Dr Tony Pastore and the ladies at the front desk are amazing. Ebony in particular is wonderful she is so welcoming and always so happy and eagar to help. The process of having both my children seen (virtually) was effortless.
Dr Tony Pastore is exceptional. He made my teens and i feel immediately comfortable. He is easy going and funny. I have seen a massive change in my children, they are so much happier, what more could a parent ask for.
Thank you Mawarra Psychological Services for helping my family. I am and will forever be grateful.

Today I received an email saying, that my review is ''extremely'' popular, so I scrolled down, and I see an additional response from the owner!
It's been number of weeks, since I typed that review, so it took me a while to recall the whole thing!
Mr. Tony am really sorry, that this thing left an indelible impression, upon you, apparently you have been fixated with it, after all, it's been two months now, and what I want to say here is: -That regardless what business you are looking at, a 100% success rate, and satisfaction among clients, is simply not possible! No business is exempted from this rule! Including yours of course!
Am fully aware, that negative reviews may affect your reputation, and pocket! So I fully understand where this frustration is coming from! You have every right to be concerned, you win bread doing this, but at the same tame I can not, change my experience that I encountered with Mawara clinic. My second attempt was again same, like the first one, and on top of that you are trying to present that, as outmaneuvering, and outwitting me! That's not the point here! And the point is: You failed to deliver a professional standard service, not once but twice in a roll!
Future negative reviews, will follow most likely, and your job is to seek a way to improve services, not overtalk your ''dissatisfied'' clients, because at the end of the day your reputation suffers, and your client body is diminishing.
