Very disappointed with the online shop from Kew. I used to buy from them, and now I remember why I stopped buying a couple of years back. A few days ago, I thought I should give them another shot. I do like their meat - they have good quality meat and nice prep meals at good pricing. But I cannot say anything positive about the retail counter staff (especially the person who packed my online order) and the attitude of the delivery person - it is appalling! The delivery person rang the doorbell, I politely requested him to push the gate and bring in the bag of meat to my porch area. He lifted the bag (indicating it's heavy), then he just dropped the bag back onto the ground at the pedestrian footpath outside, refusing to bring in the bag of meat. He just walked back to his car, reversed and and drove off quickly - I was shocked speechless! I have ordered a lot of deliveries from many online stores and every delivery person were nice, polite people (whether from Coles/Woolworths/fish supplier/groceries/cakes etc) - never had I experienced such a rude and bad attitude delivery person like this one from Mauro Bros!
Never mind, I brought the bag in myself, no big deal, it's not too heavy anyways. When I opened the bag, to my horror, the gravy & sauces had spilled all over. The packer who packed my items had done the job very THOUGHTLESSLY! Instead of packing those meat that had gravy sauce properly and seal it with cling wrap, the packer simply just put the meat & gravy in an aluminium tray and secured it flimsily with a cardboard paper lid! These aluminium trays were then stacked at the top of the bag without any plastic bag to protect any spillage. Of course during transport, the items had moved and the paper lid is not good enough to secure it, the gravy sauce spilled all over the bag, affecting all the meat below it. I did not realise it was dripping so badly from the other bags of meat, that all these gravy sauces were dripping into my freezer and all over the floor! I was meant to quickly put the meat into the freezer and get back to do my work - but this delivery had turned out to be a nightmare! I had to clean the freezer, wipe the floor and sink, taking precious time away from my work. I am definitely furious! Never again will I order from you guys - very poor staff attitude!

Clean, Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are less than the supermarket and fresh. There are speciality items from Italy sold there and deli items

Best quality meat we've had in a long time. We had the Leg of Lamb last week and it was amazing. Tonight we had the Eye Fillet and it was so tender and tasty. We'll definitely keep buying our fresh meat from Mauro's

I have tried many butchers over the years. I can't highly recommend Mauro Bros Butchers enough, regardless of what you purchase the quality of their meat is A1. I recently cooked their Porchetta. WOW, If your not drooling over the images I have provided something is wrong! I could tell the pork came from a young Pig, was so fresh and moist.and that crackling! The staff are great, so helpful and friendly which is rare to find these days.they really go above and beyond! Cant wait to cook their Porchetta again!

Be coming at this buchters now gor over 20 years the last couple of time have not be to happy with meat last week l went to buy eye fillet cook that night well meat no taste at all l went in to shop to tell about this didn't give anything to replacement and everyone know how expensive this meat is in the end they tell l paid for a gello instead well thats make me very mad l paid for gello and not 60 dollars kg for eye fillet this the girls at shop tells me and still not one thing for placement or money back no more spending my money here again cant trust them with youre meat or what you buy of them not a happy customer
