I have been working with Julian now for the past couple of years and I constantly kick myself for not making the switch to use his services sooner.
Before Julian my previous accountant could never understand the creative industry making tax time incredibly difficult with their old mindset on things. I always found TAX time I would anxiously procrastinate around having minimal understanding of the process feeling completely out of control.
Julian actually took the time to help me understand tax better, before it was so incredibly overwhelming but with his help TAX time is a much more manageable task.
Since then he has not only help educate me on my finances but eased the pain of TAX and now I find it a weirdly enjoyable task.

5+ stars! I came across Mauro after being dissatisfied by the level of communication and diligence of my previous accountant. I was initially concerned that being interstate (in Sydney), the distance would make liasion difficult but I had nothing to worry about. Mauro has been nothing short of amazing!

Accounting and anything to do with tax has always been a contentious topic in our household because of the resulting stress that usually accompanies it but Julian has been a breath of fresh air. He is concise and makes it all easy to understand, has an excellent level of communication and gives me the confidence that I am staying on top of my personal and business tax with his responsiveness. I am a huge fan of the processes he has in place so I get a clear and transparent record each time forms are signed and lodged on my behalf.

Mauro provided everything I was looking for in an accountant. Julian educated me (with the use of a white board to break it all down simply) on all aspect of being a sole trader. From how much tax I will expect to pay, to superannuation, GST/ PAY-G, deductions, student loan repayments and book keeping. He also assisted me with planning for my future of entering the property market.
