In August 2020 I was innocently struck by an out of control car whilst riding my motorcycle to work. I broke my back in four places, my pelvis in three places, both my shoulders and sustained numerous other less serious injuries. At the time of being admitted to Hospital, I was informed I was 2 mm from paralysis. It was indeed a serious injury!

I had emergency surgery and a lengthy number of other surgeries repairing broken bones and other injuries. This resulted in roughly five weeks in Hospital.

When things improved, i sought assistance from Maurice Blackburn lawyers and was put in contact with Caitlin Stove. From our first meeting it was obvious that Caitlin was intelligent, articulate and extremely professional. I appointed Caitlin as my lawyer and she commenced litigation. At every moment I was informed what was happening, received accurate advice concerning every question I had, and attended appointments with associated Doctors arranged for me by the practice. Every experience was positive and reassuring.

As time passed by and my case progressed I was introduced to Barrister Rebecca Del Pra. She further reviewed my case and once again left me with an extremely positive impression.

Finally, nearly two years later my case was presented to a conference with the TAC. My appointed Barrister was Angus Mcnabb who I found to be a "straight talking" professional. Both Caitlin and Angus handled the entire case with the utmost respect to me being the victim. The conference was complex and involved. The result, after incredibly challenging negotiation resulted in me receiving compensation that exceeded my expectations.

I have never had the need to deal with solicitors or lawyers before and I must admit I was a bit hesitant at first but after my first meeting with Trang at the Geelong office I felt at ease and was happy to put my claim in her hands.
Due to covid the process was lengthy.
I dealt directly with Trang mostly by email, which she answered swiftly her communication was excellent she always kept me updated if there were any changes in the progress of my claim.
Not having any experience with the law there were a lot of things l didn’t understand Trang would always take the time to explain everything in layman’s terms which made me relax and feel confident that we were on the right track.

Worst lawyers I've ever come across. After a year and a half Ive only heard from them when they have the potential to make a dollar other than that you can't contact the lawyer handling your case. All you get to speak to is voice mails and receptionist that can't comprehend anything.
