So glad we went to the Mattress Warehouse! Manager Phil was a legend - very helpful, honest about options and great with advice. Price was awesome, delivery very straightforward, now sleeping like a baby! Highly recommend!

Only one man to haul mattress & base upstairs. Even though I said I was 75 & lived alone, only 1 man provided.
He couldn’t manage getting base over top of balustrade by himself. He said he needed extra help, so I went door knocking on all neighbours doors asking for help.
Only ‘short’ women home! No tall men!
I ended up getting next door neighbour in & her special needs boy to help. We both hurt our backs trying to lift base up & over the balustrade.
My advice if you have stairs & elderly, don’t buy a mattress that doesn’t provide 2 men to deliver.
At $2000 there should be a guarantee the bed will be delivered safely.
Of course with 2 old ladies trying to manage getting mattress upstairs it dragged on the walls leaving many marks.
Just do your homework if you live alone, & need delivery upstairs.
The indoors salesman was very informative & helpful. It’s the after service that let’s them down. For my next mattress for spare bedroom I will have to go elsewhere.

As soon as we walked in, we knew we were going to be looked after. Philip greeted us with a warm smile & kindly let us try out almost every matress in the store. He let us have the time to ourselves as well to make decisions without being pushy at all but was able to answer every question we had with his wealth of knowledge & expertise. His products are strong, beautiful & well made. He was very aware of personal preferences and comfort levels.
When we finally made our decision, we were amazed at the price he offered us compared to anything we have seen.
We even got an amazing pair of orthopaedic pillows!
Thankyou Philip for making our purchase such a pleasing & comfortable experience. We had the best nights sleep ever! If we could give 6 stars, we would!

Philip is very knowledgeable and shows a variety of mattresses. As he says there's a mattress for everyone at his store. Parking available for customers and it's a simple shop to just browse the different types of mattresses.

My wife and I are glad we visited this store. Service and product range is the gold standard; we were not rushed or pressured at all, taking our time to try a variety of beds while learning about their different features and how to compare. The bed we chose has so far exceeded our expectations. We were originally going to jump onto the current ‘bed in a box’ bandwagon, but soon realised we couldn’t expect a substantial bed of quality to be compressed into a box, then somehow magically inflate and become something it was never made to be. I wish I’d replaced my previous mattress sooner. I recently strained my back at work, and learned I had some arthritis in the lower back mostly after many years of working hard and doing more than I should. My wife and I are pleased and relieved we now enjoy a restful and rejuvenating nights sleep. Do yourselves a favour; visit a couple of bed retailers, then go to the Mattress Warehouse, the savings, choices on offer and service will not disappoint. Highly recommended.

This building used to be the Regal mattresses store before this new man took over.
Had a look around,
not telling him I am a mattress manufacturer, that supplies his competitors not far in Preston.
Most of his mattresses are reasonably priced,
Some are cheap, and some are selling at cost. He must be desperate.

Being Philip's customer for so many years since he had his shop at Box hill central, then Burnley street, now Philip is relocate at Grange Rd Thornbury. Philip is a very sweet, friendly, trustworthy business man. There are great range of good quality bed mattress for me to choose from his shop. Easy parking. I like to purchase from Philip because he never overcharge his customer. At Philip's shop, he has much better price than any other furniture shop, there were no hidden advertising fees, franchise fees.add into the cost of my purchase. I highly recommend Philip's bed mattress shop to all my friends.

Philip helped me choose the best mattress after a debarcle with an online box mattress that hadn't t worked out for me. He sold me a high end mattress for less than a third of the price and delivered it for free and even helped me get it up the stairs. Outstanding service and he has a wealth of knowledge concerning what makes a quality mattress and guess what? They never come in a box!
