Matt The Tailor

Matt shortened a new Zimmerman pleated skirt dress which I paid close to $600 for and the result was the hem was all up and down in short he wrecked the dress. Had the audacity to order me to replace the dress and then and only then would he compensate me. As it happened Zimmerman had sold out of the dress that season. BEWARE of this so called Tailor. I have been going to this tailor for several years now. They always do an excellent job. And are friendly and courteous.

We always go to Matt the tailor. They do an incredible job with hemming school dresses and anything else we give them

Stole my items and would not return them. He did not provide a receipt as he said I did not need one. Now I can not get my items back from him. They are worth a lot of money. Beware!

This guy is the worst tailor of all time (that is in fact if this idiot is actually a tailor?) both him and his wife are incredibly rude too rude too be dealing with the public. I took a $1000.00 pure wool suit and double breasted wool over coat in to have some alterations done (big mistake) he took the trouser legs up way to high they now look more like board shorts, unfortunately this cannot be repaired so I have to trash the suit. The overcoat can be repaired but it’s not worth the extra expense. Save yourself a lot of pain and go elsewhere to have your tailoring needs met.

I had a very odd shaped jacket that required alteration. Matt did an awesome job! Totally recommend!

Thanks god for reviews as me a person of perfection Matt sounds like a drama queen and if he ruined my clothes l would be left with no choice but to peirce his eyes with a sewing needle.lol and would love to see his qualifications? If any at all wouldn't surprise me.what he found a sewing machine and calls himself a taylor.

I got a dress altered and it didnt look any different to before. When I returned displeased and asking for further alterations I was made to feel like an inconvenience and drama queen. I tried it on and he preceeded to tell me that it couldnt be taken in at the side seams any further because it would alter the shape too much. So i left and went next door to colleens. Next day was finished and fit me perfectly. Matt the tailor was rude and unprofessional and would not recommend.

Listed as a Tailor - skills of an ape. I took in two fine Italian blazers to have the arms brought up. The laziest work I have ever encountered in my life. I now have to pay to get the work done properly elsewhere.
