Very friendly staff with killer cocktails. Went for the Bangkok fire and highly recommend it. Potatoes were delicious too.

Matheson is hands down the best wine bar in Richmond. Intimate, inviting, great service, amazing food & wine (must try one of the specials night) - you're always guaranteed a friendly face and a good time. I've never been disappointed! MUST TRY!

Over the weekend I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for my partner, after visiting a number of times over the years and having always enjoyed the food, drinks and vibe at Mattheson.

Dan was incredible. He was generously accomodating, and worked with me to design something perfect for us! Our guests loved the canapé menu that we developed, and the drinks were awesome as usual.

Dan is such a beautiful person that has worked hard to build a warm and inviting community - highly recommend for your next event or vino!

Such a great experience, the lovely girl dressed in sunflowers and a guy who designed the drinks were so accomodating, made our 2yr anniv feel really special, truly some of the best service I’ve had in years: D

We went last night. We had the Aranchini - yum, 4 glasses of Shiraz, very nice and the cheese (plus extras) board for $54.00. All up $148. I was a bit shocked at the bill total. I frequent Boccaccio Cellars a lot and I would guess that the the offerings on the board wouldn't have been more than $14 (that's being generous) had I purchased them myself. Maybe I am being harsh, but in my opinion, $54 seems like an over the top mark up for that.

The white anchovies croutes are out of this world! As we're the mussels, just a spectacular place with a great vibe, 100% go here!

Great little wine bar in Richmond. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and a glass of wine and this was the perfect pick! There was an amazing selection of wines which all had funny and accurate tasting notes.

The little courtyard out the back is just stunning on a sunny day. In addition the customer service was so nice and warm. Definitely recommend coming here the next time you're in Richmond!

About as good as a wine bar gets. Lovely vibe. Superb recommendations on the vinos and food is amaze, not to mention Alfred our pup is always treated like a king. Keep up the good work team.
