MatchWorks reviews
9A very professional and well run organisation with friendly and understanding staff. The weekly job club meetings are well researched, informative and educational. Highly recommended.
Patient, positive and personalised service, especially for those of us with difficulties returning to work. Highly recommend this friendly team.
Customer service is very good. I'm very happy. They found me a great job. Thank you to Matchworks
Looking back on my time as an employee at MatchWorks Flemington, I have nothing but fond memories. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside Kate, who was always accommodating and understanding of my personal circumstances. She is not only an excellent manager, but an amazing human being and leader. MatchWorks is lucky to have her as an asset.
The team at Flemington is dedicated to addressing the needs and goals of all job seekers, and they are always available to provide support. The work environment was also very pleasant, and I always felt comfortable there.
Some of the workers here will berate you for no reason. They will book appointments with you and then get angry at you for even attending when it's not suitable. Can't think of a more frustrating experience with them as I've gotten many unsolicited calls from unknown "employers" due to handing out my number.
A shameful and disappointing way on treating disability support pensioners.
Many times I have had the experience of agents deliberately forcing jobs on you even though you are not really compatible.
My details were handed to employees without notices and I get interview calls really randomly, if I cant make the suitable interview time, I get matchworks agents calling me back and saying I am not trying hard enough and they will put a black mark next to my name.
Services are always very rush which makes me think suspicious of them as well. An advice is to take the job only if you like it. Otherwise I reckon this place is a waste of time. I don't know why they even bother.
Disappointing. Felt defamed as a committed jobseeker for simply advising the consultant that a position was not suitable.
Do not trust or believe their consultants when they say they can get you employed soon. Matchworks gives you any job they choose rather than what you're interested in and sign you up to criminal network employers they're linked with to bring in money to their business while they're making themselves look good. When your at work, you get minimum pay and get given the dirtiest parts of the job while your employers are doing the easy stuff. Not to mention the government also pays your employer for damages you cause and once you've caused your maximum amount of damage, you get thrown away on bad terms.
Only a accept a job from Matchworks if your interested. Then again they take years to make any form of progress and give you false hope in the process.
The staff at Matchworks are an incredible waste of government money and your time
