I have spinal stenosis from a car crash, which for me means I can't walk without an aid and am losing complete mobility of my left side at 23. I am awaiting a disk replacement and in the meantime I have been advised by my medical professionals that working would hasten and exacerbate my condition. I do not qualify for DSP as I have not had surgery yet and I have also not lived with the condition for over 2 years.

My worker asked me "were my legs broken" and said if I was able to attend my neurosurgeon appointments and my pain management specialist appointments I can catch public transport and attend a job appointment. They didn't seem to understand what was wrong with their comment as they were trying to assess my capacity to work.

Words cannot begin to describe how disgustingly I've been treated. If you have the ability to change job providers I highly suggest you do so.

They don't treat you with bare minimum respect or like a human being. They have no real interest in helping you.

Thank you for assisting my son in finding employment during COVID pandemic. He has become a different man, with a positive attitude and he is now able to support himself financially. Top job folks!

Avoid at all costs unless you don’t care about finding work. Full of incompetent staff who’ll quickly make you wonder why they have a job and you don’t.

You get out what you put in. Matchworks is there to help the journey towards suitable employment. The staff are friendly and supportive while offering a great all-round service.

Just remember before you have a negative opinion about them, they are the best service in the area and region for great reason. You will get the best out them if you give your best in return.

The system has given me some trouble in the past. But if you are lucky enough to be paired with a worker named Sarah, it will make your experience a lot more productive. Quick with her replies, actively helps you find a job and generally a lovely agency worker. I have been with matchworks for years, this is the first time I've had an agency worker be actively invested in their clients. Others could learn a thing or two from her.
