Would definitely recommend your friends and family to visit the St Albans match works. Staff on site are super helpful and supportive. Despite the many questions raised staff were still very insightful and patient
I’ve left with a lot of confidence and motivation

ThIt depends on who you get as a caseworker but they don't treat all clients the same. This kind of work means you should be unjudgemental and professional at all times. But sone of them are not. So glad i don't have to put up with them anymore.

They help alot and help me boost up in my life.

Pointing me in the right direction.

There are times where i feel very down and doubting myself alot. There this one worker name. (DANA) she had helped me so much and i cant thank her enough. I have only moved down to the west side for about 3/4 years i think and ask centrelink to transfer me to one of the job provider to help and support me.

By far matchwork as boosted me up and help me get back to working. I have to much more to say, but not very well good these type of things. Better in talking face to face.

All i can say is thanks dana, thanks for everything - supporting me alot in work equipments, pointing me in the right directions and not to giveup, one point where my back was very saw and you help me with appointment at the physio. She payed and help me so much that i cannot afford.

Thanks so much dana. Matchwork gives u a huge boost and get u on your feet.

Horrible service staff is incredibly rude they don’t care if you have Multiple Sclerosis, they will continue to stress you out and shout at you regardless of your condition being triggered by stress. No professionalism whatsoever receptionist laughing when I’m trying to express my serious opinion.the whole place is a utter JOKE.

Matchworks helps me find work, and helps with my support in many ways to find work.
Dana has been a tremendous support to me she has supported me through a long list of hard times and it's because of her support and advice that I am now in active recovery from drugs and really has given me the strength to change my life around just, by Dana never giving up on me and always being there for me when nobody else was, also her kindness and kind words made me feel like I'm not worthless and she gave me the strength an advice to change my life around.
Dana has made a number of positive impacts on my life but the example I'm using has helped my well-being I used to run and hide from phone calls important phone calls which used to give me a lot of anxiety Dana showed me and explained to me that answering the phone calls as they come thru answering them straight away and dealing with the matter sooner rather than later will take away some of my anxiety this didn't happen straight away only through Danas patients and understanding and her persistence with seeing the best in me. Finally I took on board her teachings and started to answer the phone to my matters and sort it out all my appointments and now my anxiety from that is gone Dana also setup psychologist appointments for me and this has been an instrumental part in my ongoing recovery which has made my life quality of life much better.
I would say thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there with your support advice and teachings and beautiful kind words I'm totally grateful for all your help and owe you my life because you gave me the strength to change my life for the best.
Sincerely Michael Armando Oliveira

These guys have been really helpful and supportive, and my experience with Matchworks St. Albans especially with Amanda has been one of caring with excellence. She not only helped me navigate employment but also understood my requirements and personal needs. I was shown how to value and develop my own skills and also how to use them to my own benefit. Amanda has been a great support in this area, even in difficult times. If you want to be supported for real, then make the most of this invaluable resource people!

I have given Matchworks in St Albans a 5 STAR rating because they were specialised in taking care of my job seeking needs when I came to them after a 2 year break from employment due to a mental health problem.

The Matchworks consultants were very understanding that i was still recovering from my illness and they did not make me feel that I was unfit to go back to work.they advised me well to apply for jobs that I thought I would be able to cope with; they were reasonable with their expectations of me and took it slow pace to recovery for me.

They successfuly matched my skills level, interests, and previous work experiences with an employer in the western suburbs, and they gave them a good recommendation of me and I got the job and I have stayed with this employer for over a year now working part time as a community support worker.

Matchworks also encouraged me to do further training last year to upgrade my Disability Services training that I did a long time ago and now i have successfully completed my studies at GENU and gained my certificate 4 in mental health services and this study has integrated well with my previous training in diasbility services. And I am now working with a client in the community who has both a disability and mental health issues.

Matchworks has really put in the effort to get to know me as a person and they check up on me regularly to find out how I am going with my part time job as a community support worker, and their consultant Dana has been good to catch up with and talk to about my work responsibilities and stress levels and this has served to debrief me and get things off my chest. Dana has definitely witnessed my life's journey in the past 2 years and has celebrated with me my continued employment and my completion of training with GENU and she recently helped me apply for the diploma of nursing course at VU and I got accepted and I am now a student nurse". Feel like all the care about is placing a person in a job no matter where it is, so that they can get the funding from the government. Though this maybe the case with all employment agencies.

Poor service, my worker has not done one thing she has been supposed to and when they say they will call me back, it never happens.even the MANAGER didnt call back. Pathetic. Should be shut down. My worker should definitely get the sack as well as a new manager would definitely be an idea.
