Was craving banh mi and came across Master Roll Vietnam in South Yarra. Great to come across an authentic Vietnamese place serving banh mi and pho.

Crispy Roast Pork Vietnamese Bread Roll & Vietnamese coffee are the best combo to go! Definitely recommend

Brought a chicken roll but the filling veg and meat is too salty ruined my feeling. Won't buy it again

The counter lady is rude. Have been ordered multiple times thru menulog, first time walk in. Bad experience.

Delicious and fresh banh mi with whole food ingredients and jummy sauce. Service is extremely quick, and the atmosphere is vibrant and cozy. Pink grapefruit juice is refreshing and fruity.

One of the best crispy roast pork banh mi I've had in Australia. Excellent value considering the taste and the price. In June 2019, it was around $6.50.

I used to like coming here but they’ve become quite petty with the amount of meat they give you.took me a while just to get to it, and the crispy pork skin is so tough that i had to spit it out

Used to be amazing but now it’s just average. Banh mi is hastily thrown together without much care and the bun wasn’t even toasted last time. Still pretty good but there are better options.

Looks like a really unassuming corner shop on south yarra. Stacks of baguette waiting to be turned into Bahn Mi. Well I’d say totally worth it. I liked the crispy pork belly one but my partner prefers the braised pork one. All in all really fresh and a really nice snack/lunch/dinner.

The banh mi here is the closest to the authentic one so far that I can find. They have a variety of option, including vegan one i think. My favorite is actually the cold meat banh mi as it is close to the one I had in Vietnam. It has bit too much pate and fat but you can ask them to put less. Overall a good place for a quick bite to go.

Used to love their rolls however costs went up substantially over night and the quality has gone down. The new rolls are nowhere near as crispy.

Delicious crispy pork Bahn mi one of the best in Melbourne! Fast service and fair price. The only thing I would improve is a crunchier baguette.

Used to be one of the best. Not sure what has changed in the past year, but it really isn’t as appetising anymore.

The bread tasted better than all the fillings combined.
The chilli wasn't spicy at all and so the whole experience was ultra dull.
The roll was made in less than 10 seconds, so just seemed rushed and had no love.
I was so excited, but this just made me sadder.

Today was my first time visiting this place around 9am before going to work. I ordered roast pork bahn mi. It was fast, fresh, delicious. On top of that, the staff members were friendly, which I found impressive for a Sunday morning. I might re-visit tomorrow again for another breakfast ️

As a food lover, I experiment different restaurants and their amazing foods. BUT, this restaurant is utterly disappointing because of their lack of hospitality and rudeness. Also food is over priced even pricier than South Bank. Hopefully they will improve in future.

They have the best classic Bahn Mi sandwiches. Always add in the fresh chilli option when they ask.
Great place for a quick lunch or takeaway.
