I just want to thank Kylie and Peter for their help with organising for me to pick up an MLAK for my son.

Your prompt email correspondence allowed for me to organise to come past your office to collect the key within a couple days.

It was a little bit hard to find the office (I originally drove past it and had to turn around) but a quick phone call to Peter and he came straight out to meet me - he was so warm and generous!

As my son gets older, this key will be so SO helpful! I can't thank you enough!

Been a member for a while now and can’t speak highly enough, we are located in Port Melbourne and had some issues that needed special attention, the staff was helpful and sensitive throughout
Also with the Covid-19 they always keep all the latest updates to support

THIS ORGANISATION DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HOW AN ELDERLY VULNERABLE AGED PENSIONER IS LEFT WITH THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY ONE OF YOUR LOCKSMITH MEMBERS. THE LAST STRAW BEING STAN WOOTTON LOCKSMITHS ATTENDING HER PREMISES WITHOUT PERMISSION!
It was supposed to be a simple job - replacing a glass patio sliding door lock.
It has left us with a repair bill of $3,727 due to the bodgy work done by his Locksmith at Stan Wootton Locksmiths. We have photo evidence of the before and after photo’s to back this claim.
Mr McHutchison is refusing to provide a full refund to my Mother. After inspecting the work done by his Locksmith, Rick has only offered to “patch things” and he is also refusing to pay for a qualified tradesperson who is authorised to work with glass to replace the damaged aluminium patio glass door (which only comes complete.)
After having Mr McHutchison arrive on our premises since without authorisation, we do not authorise for any repairs done by his business specifically.

Stan Wootton Locksmiths Dear customers reading this post,
We feel it is our responsibility as a company to respond to the accusations made by this client and to clarify the situation.

The job in question - supply and install a new, non deadlocking sliding door lock to an existing door, in place of a broken one. This was completed in December 2018. The first complaint we received from the client was 6 weeks after the initial install.

Upon inspection, we have determined that there is minor, cosmetic damage to the door, which in no way affects the operation or security of the lock. We have offered repeatedly to rectify this problem by replacing the damaged section of the door. The customer has refused this, and has attempted to have us pay for a complete new door and frame, along with an upgraded lock, all supplied and installed by another company. This is the “repair bill” that the client has referred to above.

During the last 6 months we have received several emails from this client, threatening legal action if we did not pay the cost of the unnecessary work listed above. We have maintained that we will repair the problem as offered, as is our responsibility.

We at Stan Wootton Locksmiths pride ourselves on quality workmanship and good service. While occasionally, things do not go according to plan during day to day operations, every effort is always made to rectify any and all issues with minimum fuss maximum professionalism.

We believe that we have responded professionally and clearly to the above accusations and will continue to operate with the same integrity that we always have. As such, we will not be dragged into a mud slinging match on social media. We thank you for taking the time to read this post and hope that we can continue to serve our customers to the best of our ability into the future.
