Masons Falls Picnic Area

Hidden gem, lovely waterfall and good viewing platform, path from carpark was good not suitable for wheelchairs though. Walk was about 1klm to waterfall, picnic area, BBQ and toilets near carpark. Would have liked a couple more park benches along the walk to sit

It's so good everything is there, especially it has toilets and they are in good condition.

But those BBQs didn't work!
Also there is not any drinking taps in this place!

Lots of picnic tables under cover, and three built in gas bbqs with two hot plates on each.

Very nice place to visit. Picnic area and toilet area looks clean and nice for family gatherings.

I have been to Masons Falls a few times now. I love how peaceful it is and the walk to the water fall is beautiful.

Lovely place for a family picnic, unfortunately the area does fill up quickly so if you have plans I suggest going early to secure a spot.
With the falls being close to the entertainment area these falls lack the tranquility of others.
Absolutely stunning falls after the rains, not much to see during the drought season.

Walking tracks are well used and signposted.

Beautiful place. Very serene bushland. With ample parking space available and picnic facilities. It is a bid walk to reach the waterfall. Very good family and kids outing. Unfotunatley, a bid hard if you are on a wheel chair

Note: We found a snake along the path to the waterfall observation platform.

Great spot. The walk to the falls viewing area is a little steep with a pram, but doable as long as it isn’t wet.

Wonderful place to explore nature. Bring your own water to drink. Lots of space for a picnic and bbq facilities available.
Toilets could do with a clean.

Moderate walk, easy access, Plenty Lyrebird singing, If lucky enough, you can spot one or two, We spotted one.

Masons Falls Picnic Area is such a nice place, big picnic area with plenty of dining tables and BBQ places and toilets are on side which makes it a good picnic area for whole family. Don't miss the masons falls view theresa track goes all the way till the platform where you can see the falls.somtimes the falls dry up in summer time. Highly recommended for family and friend for a day trip.

Loved this place. Great facilities, clean and well presented. The walks are fantastic to do on a drizzly day!

I was expecting better waterfall here but its really small and dried up. But nature trails are good. You can see different birds, trees and animals too.

Nice picnic spot with Bbqs. 700 mts walk to the falls. But don't just go there just for the falls as it doesn't have enough water.

Beautiful. It has big walking trail approx 10 kms. Lovely BBQ stations at entry. However visit early to secure BBQ spots. Lovely view of waterfalls. Must be very nice in rainy season. The walking trail has tall trees ensure shade all along.never gets super hot. Be mindful if you are with toddlers. The trail has ups and downs and rolling stones all along.

Lovely area with BBQs and toilets. Easy-moderate walk to falls about 15 mins. Can also bathe in shallow rock pools on way to viewing area. Path really manageable and clear and waterfall worth the walk.
