I have 2 daughters at the school and we’re very happy overall. Facilities are always expanding and improving and they are striving to improve year on year. Youngest just finished ELC and couldn’t recommend them high enough. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this school don’t know why there are so many poor reviews, probably people with an axe to grind. Edit: have read more of the reviews seems most are former students having a whinge

For a private school. Extremely disappointing, little school activities, barely any class excursions regardless of what subjects you choose, its school publicity > student care, public schools do a better job, if your looking for a positive vibe, this ain't the place. (edit) I was a graduating student here

I go to this school and I have been bullied most of my days here from prep to year 8 the school cares more about uniform then peoples own safety- I finally left the school and is so glad the school should really shut down IMMEDIATELY.

The school is so rubbish. The teachers only care about the uniform and not the education. They give you detentions everyday just because you were 5 or 10 minutes late. The teachers are so rude and don’t care about anything. There is to much homework, and the uniform is super uncomfortable and the winter uniform is the worst. All the teachers don’t care how students are feeling, they only care about that you have to finish your homework or you will get a detention. They are so strict it is annoying.

I have mixed feelings about the school. There are good teachers and bad teachers. There are some teachers who are actually qualified and know what they are doing, where as others have no idea what they are doing or saying. There is a teacher that teaches I. T for year 10s and below, i believe, yet does not know what an 'audio jack' is and has no idea how to use the Marymede website, which makes it really concerning. However there are a very few amount of teachers who are good at teaching and know what they are doing, A FEW. The school is really well designed tho, most employees have no idea what the hell they are doing, Every time there is an Assembly the I. T always, somehow mess it up. The school seems to care more about how a student represents themselves more than the education, however it is being improved upon. Tho i believe every student should be able to represent themselves just as they want. The school has few stupid rules, which i think should be changed.
1: students should have the rite to use their phones during their breaks. It's their, break and should be able to do whatever they want.
2: Students should have the rite to represent themselves however they wish. Of course they should still wear the uniform, however teachers should not be freaking out about a man having a beard, or piercing. Its their decision.
That's about it from me, this school has alot of potential to make itself a really good school, however we have a few problems which restrict it from that potential. Also just choose you're staff really carefully.

TEACHERS ARE GOOD, (PTVB). PHENOMENAL WORDS OF WISDOM. INSPIRATION!

SOME TEACHERS DONT HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT TO TEACH OR HAVE A PREPARED LESSON PLAN IN CASE THERE ARE ANY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. (NOT NAMING NAMES FOR THEIR PRIVACY) OTHERWISE GOOD SCHOOL AND REMEMBER KIDS ALWAYS STAY HYDRATED
ON WATER NOTHING ELSE UNTIL IT IS LEGAL

Millpark students make fun of us. I've never been more embarrassed my whole life.their docks is 99.05 while ours is 95 and we are a catholic school. I feel like everyone knows this by now, Marymede is like a nice frame, inside that frame there is just emptiness thats how all the students feel

A supportive and proactive college. It's great to have the continuity of Early Learning through to VCE in one campus for kids!

I teach singing at Marymede. The students are all so very responsible and come to their lessons on time (despite the timetable changing every week), which, compared to another school where I taught (where students forgot to come to their lessons 50% of the time) tells me that the teachers and management take the childrens' education very seriously. All my students are respectful and hard-working. I love the diversity of cultures at the school. Marymede is a place where "unity in diversity" is an everyday reality. I"m thankful to all the teachers, staff and management who make Marymede a wonderful place to work.

Very disappointing school, they care more about the uniform than they do education and hire teachers that have no clue about teaching and treat their students poorly. Every one of my reports has been rewritten because of multiple errors that they withhold, and in every year multiple teachers and results have had to be changed because of mistakes and poor teaching. I am disgusted and appalled at the lack of leadership that the principal has, he cares only about how you are presented and how the school looks over your education and will not arrange any meeting with him and rather direct you to someone else. Overall the school is terrible and has no care for education or the students wellbeing.

The school cares more about your uniform than your education. They want to look good and cover up from the public anything that looks like it could hurt the school's reputation. The students who get above 40 on their ATARS is a little over 4%. Don't send your child here unless you want to look good in uniform otherwise your just wasting your money. There's too many kids who use vulgar language. I've seen first graders use these vulgar words at each other, its not good.

This joint builds new building and doesn't even put new blinds in, this can effect the students and teachers eyesight!

No good here. I was severely bullied, and getting help wasn't working because there was no help to get. Every time I told a teacher about the awful things that happened, they either didn't believe me or said something like "don't worry, they will grow up eventually". It was a path that I had to take by myself. I walk a lonely road, the only road that I have ever known, and I don't know where it leads.

I don't appreciate your students parents using my carport as their shade area waiting to pick up children. Note to parents P5 sign means 5 minutes not 105 minutes. Have some respect for the community!

Marymede should focus on more important issues rather than hair and uniform and the teachers are very very bias in my opinion, terrible school!
