We had an absolutely amazing experience here, from the customer service to the apartment itself. I couldn't recommend it more. We will definitely be back for future Melbourne trips

The hospitality starts with the reception area with the wheelchair used by Saint Mary MacKillop. Self-Guided museum audio tour concludes with a tranquil chapel. My students simply love it

Such a delightful place to visit, so much detail given to the life of Mary MacKillop. The nuns in attendance were friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend a visit when you next visit East Melbourne.

So peaceful! Thank you, God, for the SOSJ and the people who now run the heritage centre. A well positioned place when you just need somewhere to pray!

Only open on certain days but worth visiting this place where our First Saint lived alongside her community.

This is like a small cozy museum, where people can know more about life of Saint Mary Mackillop and the congregation of sister of Saint Joseph.

Spent some reflective time here, the museum dedicated to St Mary MacKillop is truly humbling. I am always in awe of people that have such a deep faith and demonstrate it by being totally and unreservedly in service to marginalised people who deserve respect and dignity. To think that Mary MacKillop started her life's work in the late 1800's and her work and vision still continues today because people who also believed in her calling, are still of service to people and communities around the world today. This is why I truly believe that the world is a much better place, for without people like Mary MacKillop and those who have followed in her foot steps, we would be much, much poorer. I have been told since my childhood, "God helps those that help themselves". In this case it is clearly demonstrated by Mary Mackillop's devotion to God. If you have some time, visit the museum, the chapel. Read, sit, reflect and allow the grace of St Mary MacKillop to be with you.
