Marvel Stadium reviews
45Excellent stadium. The view is very good from most seats. Went to watch the BBL cricket match. Wish the refreshments are cheaper than they are.
More s BBL issue but as a neutral was disappointed that pyrotechnic snd light dhow only came on for home team
Amazing venue for sports as well as other events.attended Nouman Ali Khan's talk last week and found the access, facilities, AV systems, parking all good.
I attended for TWICE's concert on November 4th. The venue itself is very clean and feels safe to be around. The staff inside the venue were friendly, one of the older staff members with glasses (didn't note his name) wanted to chat excitedly about the quality of the event which was really nice. When your staff are enthusiastic it really drives up the customer experience!
One of the stage staff helped a couple of us collect some souvenir streamers after the event as well which was a really great experience. My issues come from some baffling crowd control issues, funneling approximately 10k VIPs into just 1 entrance for the sound check. The line stretched out around the whole stadium, so when you showed up at gate 5 and were looking for the end of the line, it was growing as you walked, so we walked around the entire stadium chasing the end of the ever-growing line.
After the soundcheck if you wanted to exit the venue you could only go out of gate 5, but the line was so long that the staff told us to just go out any gate. So we looked for other gates which wouldn't let us out, so we all went back to the end of the gate 5 exit line. I think this could have been handled much more effectively given the Stadium's obvious experience hosting massive events with 10s of thousands of attendees.
The layout of the flat seating on the floor was a bit disappointing as well since everyone stood up and you couldn't see the stage. I think it would have been a better experience to have a no standing rule, raise the stage higher to provide better visibility or have some slight elevation on the flat seating to give a better view in the further back spots. The sound system worked great for the start of the show and the integration of the live band later on came off flawlessly. Food and drink pricing was in line with my expectations and I found it to be quite nice compared to what I've had at other similar places.
We come here a lot for different artists. Most recently we were here for Paul McCartney and it was the first time at the venue where we’ve seen the roof on top of the venue. Definitely liked that vibe better than when we saw Harry Styles earlier in the year with no roof. Lots of easy access to getting to higher levels. Lots of bathrooms.
Went to see twice, good show. The seats were sticky, gross.
Pleasant staff.
Overpriced food though
Give me a stadium with a roof any day… Keeping you warmer (closed) in winter & fresher (open) on those warm summer nights.
Marvel has a great footy atmosphere, great for concerts & games. Great facilities, easy parking, close to train station & very good location in the Docklands.
I attended yesterday's game. It was very difficult for me climbing the stairs to get to the venue and to my seat. My friends legs and joints felt uncomfortable. I feel this needs to be addressed to make it easier for people with mobility issues. In saying that, my seat was on level 2 next to the Medallion club with direct ease of access to the rest rooms which were very clean with clear signage for entry and exit. I enjoyed a great view from my seat and also enjoyed a McCafe latte before the match which my team won. Watch out! The beers here are expensive!
Pleasant experience and good seating but the price of snacks (especially donuts) far too high. I should really have given 4stars because of this.good otherwise
Great views even from WAY up the back.
Easy access by public transport.
Free water refill station so keep your bottle/cup.
Last week was good stands clean. This week floors on level 3 aisle 14 were very sticky with drink from the night before not pleasant at all.
Was a tad disappointed. Chips had salt on them but didn't taste like they did, cups and trays seemed to spill alot easier than the ones at the mcg. Also didn't like the lights compared to the mcg, made the game harder to watch and I found myself watching the big screen (which is sad for a small stadium). I guess I'm comparing it to the mcg so it's never going to be as good. Got to go on the field after the game which was great
Level 1 under cover is so noisy from the reflected sound of cheering off the low roof above you that you will have a headache by quarter time. Choose tickets wisely and if you want to leave early then head as far away from the stadium as quickly as possible as the smokers spread out far and wide.
Nobody is ever going to get sentimental about this place. When you are spoilt by the likes of the MCG, this place is just OK in comparison. Easy to get in and out of via public transport but when you compare it to stadiums like Camp Nou in Barcelona or Staples stadium in Los Angeles it is just ok.
Sat court side at Boomers V USA and seating was poor viability.
Venue for footy is great and Cricket, but they messed up with basketball
A great transition occured here for the basketball. It was almost unrecognizable compared to a football match. My 3 star rating is due to the men's toliets being flooded at half time and no one I told was interested in fixing it up.
Marvel Stadium is a big impact stadium. Generally hosting sports games the stadium also does big musical acts aswel. The stadium is super easy to get to as it is a 2min walk from southern cross station. Great friendly staff. Medibank has some great seats to watch their big screen on too
The Doggies' home. How good is that? Could do with some more healthy food choices.not everyone is into fat chips, burgers, hot dogs and pies.
Cold as in there. Not an ideal place to watch basketball tbh, zero atmos. Fine for footy or any sport where the field justifies the seating situation
Went and sore boomers and it was a nightmare the stadium was a disgrace. Seats so close to each other, your on each others lap my knees where smashing into the seat in front of me and I'm only 6ft never again
