Feels like home. Servers/owners know their customers and asks everyone new or familiar how was their day. Really great people. Food is fresh and is very tasty. Price is right and affordable. Will gladly drive back to this place again.

We have been here so many times while working in the area, food has always been fresh, and the chicken is very render. The portion sizes are more than generous. Staff have always been friendly and kind, 100% recommend this place.

Martin Street Chargrilled Chicken is a absolutely top notch Charcoal Chicken! Serving delicious free Range Lilydale Chooks the Chips are also as you would expect them to be, crispy golden little treasures that are admittedly irresistible.my favourite thing to get from this fantastic Family run business is the Fried Chicken Thighs! They remind me of my Grandmother Cooking! And once again these are irresistible! I suggest getting in before the lunchtime peak hits because they are popular are only a set amount is made daily.

WOW! Beautiful Chicken, soft, tender and juicy! My go to for Chicken and Chips. That aside, SUPER Clean which is so important! Best Chicken Shop in the Bayside area!

Owner is on a price rise spree, everything gone up $1.50 in the last month, menu photos on here are wrong despite only being a month old. HSP is not a HSP, it's just shredded roast chicken not chicken off a spit like a real HSP.

The staff is friendly and the place is sparkling clean.

I work 10 minutes away from this shop. It is really good. The chicken feels fresh not dried. The chips and salad won't disappoint.

My workmates are buying from this shop at least twice a week and whatever they order has been rated as delicious.

The fact that I bought a schnitzel roll with lettuce, tomato and onion on it at it cost me $14 dollars. IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULS. RIP OFF CHARCOAL CHICKEN.

You serve me a roll, with 2 tomato slices a handful of lettuce and a HALF piece of schnitzel that I can buy from Coles for $1.20 is such a joke.are you even kidding yourself? Seriously what a joke!

I must admit, I live with a constant hankering for the chips here.
Fresh, crunchy but soft on inside and just all round great oh and great chicken salt/ing.
Chicken is also amazing albeit on pricey side but beats any cheaper chicken (i.e. Costco or woolies/Coles).

The chips are definitely carrying this review, something I didn't think I would ever say in my reviews

Ok, but unreliable. They do not stick to their opening hours and were closed by 7: 30pm on a Thursday.

Delicious! I came here for dinner after more than 10 years since my last. I bought the family pack with the Greek salad. Plenty of menu items and packs. With Lilydale chicken it doesn't get better. I'll be back again soon!

I’ve been coming here on a regular basis for many years. The food and service is consistently great.

The best and freshest chicken. Amazing flavour and the schnitzel and chips are also the best I've ever for had. Try the souvlaki and fresh homemade salads. Also amazing

I just personally think $18 ($17.79 incase I’m corrected) for a chicken wrap is ridiculous. Don’t think I’m not aware of rent/wages etc but for size portions I’d rather go somewhere else. No hate just observation. Also as someone who works in medical field I saw a comment about a guy getting food he was allergic to in his order, your response shouldn’t be “training new people” first thing they should know is separating food preparation stations eg no nuts near other food and meat in own spot. People come into my ED not being able to breathe after licking a nut. No excuses just do better for people like the uncomfortable couple. Cheers.

The food is reasonable which makes this review even more annoying. Honestly the worst service I’ve had. The owner is angry, rarely cracks a smile, puts more money on without telling you. The previous lady who used to be there was even worse. Doesn’t cost to smile!

The store is really clean and everything looks and tastes fresh.
I come here atleast twice a week and I'm never disappointed.

They missed the gravy on our order and got every single one of the salads wrong. Also left a note saying they gave us coleslaw instead of scallop potatoes because they had run out. Why wouldn’t you substitute fries or roast potatoes? How is scallop potatoes similar to coleslaw? Honestly everything was awful and I question the intelligence of everyone working there.

The best gluten free chicken and chips! Always so accomodating to ensure the stuffing is removed and can always have the top of the chicken. The chips with chicken salt are also gluten free and always cooked to perfection! It’s our favourite weekly treat!
