Martin Street Cafe reviews
33The coffee was good quality and well made. Great food from the kitchen and great service from Bridie. She was very accommodating, welcoming and friendly. The place is family and dog friendly too, which is great.
Didn’t get any food, just coffees but they were delicious! Staff were so accommodating to cleaning steam wand and jugs for my friend who is coeliac.
Had a fantastic experience here today. Great, friendly people. Delicious food. Wonderful coffee. Wish I didn’t live an hour away!
First visit this morning and not disappointed - very nice breakfast and great cofffee including being asked if we wanted one straight away - will be going back.however second visit there was literally no service at all.sat there for 15 mins totally ignored.we left for a more friendly prompt venue
Went here for lunch today and the food was okay all around, the server was friendly but I have to give a lower rating because in no way is this place baby friendly. Barely room for a pram and the bathroom didn’t have anywhere to go change the baby. The server told me there was a table that I could use as a makeshift change table but it was too narrow (unsafe) and the bathroom was quite dirty. It surprises me how little thought goes into amenities for parents carting around infants. The bathroom also barely fit both my infant and I. Just some feedback to please consider accessibility for your customers.
A café with a lot of character! I love how they have all day breakfast and the coffee is the best on the strip.
Just had lunch.squid/pasta/salad bowl. 3 excellent meals together with coffee exactly how we like it. Highly recommend this cafe.
Martin Street Cafe is a really nice little Cafe with some really nice Coffee, the food is pretty good also, but it isn't as good as it used to be in my experience, the Breakfast seemed really dry and hard to eat, the Bacon was really hard and it seemed to need more Hollandaise, the ingredients used are top quality but I think the preparation could be a bit better to match the all round quality of things, there is a outdoor area as well as tables inside, this is a good Cafe for Families to visit as it is child friendly, I do Recommend Martin St Cafe.
Really disappointed, my coffee was cold, we had to wait for so long to order
In my food the Bread was old, the beacon was absolutely dry and burned I didn't really enjoy it. It use to be better.
Sorry guys
Great service great permanent staff.
Glad to see Francis back.
Cheff is amazing.
Julian makes a great coffee.
Cynthia is always attentive.
A very nice family run business serving great coffee, cakes and more. Plenty of room inside and out the back to dine. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit last week and look forward to stopping by again soon. Recommended!?
Am a huge fan of a breaky burger but unfortunately was left thirsty as a camel after eating the one from here. It was probably the driest breaky burger I’ve ever had in my life. Some sauce, avo or even an egg less cooked would moisten her up.
Open Christmas and New Year's days. Always friendly atmosphere. Good place to stop for a coffee.
One of the best coffee in Brighton area! So good
Service is good and efficient quite unlike at Church /Bay street
Great selection of food
Good food and both still and sparkling water available FOC. We shared the large table as inside was better on a 30° + day
I never knew this place had a courtyard out the back! Lovely food and drinks and the courtyard was really homey and rustic. Nice big umbrellas for shade too!
Amazing place with awesome people! Thank you for the yummy coffee and the delicious muffin. Highly recommended. #Kris:)
The service is very good and it's a super classy venue but I'm not a huge fan of the food. The ingredient list is good but the execution is off. Maybe their lunch is better than their brunch?
Fairly disappointing. Had the Morrocan Pie Chips and salad for $24.90. There was 5 chips. I counted them. The waitress also took a shot at us for moving tables. Despite getting earlier permission from the same waitress to do so.weird
