Maroondah Federation Estate reviews
17Fantastic exhibition congratulations Your DNA Creative Arts Art Attack participants & staff wonderful visiting with my friend Gail who loved it
Interesting exhibition, disappointing that the Cafe was not open, I am guessing there's not much trade for them. More people need to visit to make it worthwhile opening
A great local gallery with interesting exhibits.and now you can get food and coffee in the little Cafe that opens out into the lovely garden.
The Gallery is currently featuring local artists, and it’s well worth going to see. Lovely venue - used to be the old Ringwood School, now totally revamped and repurposed into a Community Centre. Easy to get to with ample parking.
Attend a music Estedford. 10 -12 single performances graded with top three award medallions.facilities are excellent but no food available over the weekend
Fed Estate is a good community venue to get groups together from small to quite large - our orchestra has around 60 members and even with Covid restrictions we could have 90 in the big room. Good facilities and parking.
1 yr Vaccinations - not pleasant for the bub but coming from a country where preventable diseases are only kept at bay by needles I know one second of pain is worth the safety of herd immunity for the community
We went there for a NAIDOC event it's a great area the central building has great facilities and outside there was heaps of room 4 different activities and the kids to play a really good place
The coffee served to me today had no scent or flavour of real coffee. Not a good place to drink a decent cup of coffee. The venue is beautiful though.
Great area for kids to play, grab a coffee, checkout the exhibition and take in a class of one sort or another. Generally good parking facilities
A well designed community centre with a large range of courses and talks. All housed in a historic primary school.
I did some first aid training here today, real full on stuff, even if it was only for a day.
Parking was a little iffy, but if you're in the right class, they give you a ticket to put on your car so you don't get booked: D
There's an oval nearby and a small amount of play equipment to keep your young ones entertained, if only for an hour or so.
The only downside I could find to this place was that even though the canteen was pretty cheap with awesome food. There was zero caramel slice ; (
But that's understandable considering the amount of visitors they get.
All in all, if you're confident or just wanna learn something new, book a first aid course and help save a life!:)
Didn't know this facility existed until I went there to view a display at the art gallery. Terrific place with lots to see and do.
A great place to sing - come sing with the Melbourne Welsh Male Choir - any Wednesday between 7pm and 10pm. Have a look at our website - even if you just want to come along and listen to us sing.
Nice layout, many areas to sit, a small playground is here. The function rooms are adequate. And a nice courtyard. Has a cafe inside.
Maroondah Symphony rehearses here every week. Acoustics ok but new seats are dreadful for musicians: some players now bring their own. Other facilities ok.
Slightly tricky to find the entrance (it's on the chicane). Adequate parking and good signage in the building.
