Great service, little low on communication. Got my phone repaired here through insurance, nice work but never communicated the updates or timeline, I had to chase them always to get updates. Quality workmanship though.
Staff friendly at the beginning, but don't keep you updated, don't send emails (important ones like quotes, and when they do send quotes theres no info or way to pay without having to call up AGAIN). 'I promise to call you back' is not something you should believe.
Disappointed that phone was returned to me with cracked back glass - I firmly believe this should have been fixed, or that they could have clarified before taking my money.
Here you go: Terrible communication, not customer focused, don't follow up on things, ignore emails, avoident, blame others, don't take ownership, and so much more. Very frustrating to deal with.
Had to post a 32" tv to them this week from interstate due to a major fault (a requirement by the seller before a refund can be issued - at their cost). Unfortunately, I didn't have all the necessary information required in time to print out and put on the box. I phoned the next morning and spoke to a lovely staff member who took all my details so that my tv didn't get mislaid. I confirmed with a follow-up e-mail. I received notification from them today saying my tv has been received by them and they hope to have the "prognosis" within 14 days. Excellent service. Thank you.

So, I signed up for Bupa phone insurance, didn't know it was actually insurance4that partnered with marks Electronics until I lodged a claim after an incident at home.
There was an extra payment I had to make on top of the excess which I was not too happy with originally but by the end of it all they replaced my entire Z Fold 2 phone for a brand new one.
They replied and got in contact all the way through which was amazing service.

Cons
- That extra payment I had to make on top of the excess (excess was 200, then an additional 216 was requested) but nonetheless they replaced the $2500 phone for a completely brand new one.

Marks Electronics is a preferred partner of Insurance for That. The entire process was smooth, fast and communication was excellent. I received regular email updates that kept my mind at ease that my laptop had been received and was being assessed for my insurance claim. Results of assessment and action being taken after assessment were communicated well.
Marks Electronics were the repairer/assesor for my laptop when I lodged a claim through Insurance 4 That. I was sceptical and nervous how it was going to go. After Insurance 4 That handed the claim over to Marks Electronics, the whole thing couldn't have gone better. My unrealistic expectations were blown out of the water. Highly recommend! Ann-Marie was very professional and always stayed in contact. Insurance for that was able to replace my tv with the exact same model delivered to my house. Insurance premiums are really good too!
