A fenced in playground! Great for the littles! Suitable for 18months up as it has some smaller slides and a lot of room for them to run around.

The BBQ facilities and bathrooms also add to the rating for this one.

A nice playground with lots of facilities. Most of the area are shaded from the sunshine by the trees adjacent and roofs above the playground!

Nice location, plenty of shade, safe and a great variety of play equipment for different age groups.

A great local park. I attended a birthday here, and there was a lot of variety of games the kids could play. Lots of space too.

Markham reserve is beautiful now. A great place to take the kids or the dog or just go for a walk or a bike ride.

It has nice facilities which suit kids in different ages. In addition, there is a mini skate park, a basketball court and a clean restroom.

Fantastic playground. One of my favorite. Large fields on either side of playground. There's a public toilet here. Convenient parking. Bicycle fixing station. Drinking water fountain and water bottle filler. Sheltered bbq area. Great walking trail and cycle track.

Spacious park with plenty to keep the kids entertained - recommend if you live nearby, but not really a 'destination' if you don't. Two issues: (a) the raised wooden walkway is pretty high and a bit dangerous for toddlers and below - need to keep a close eye on them; and (b) without a lot of tree canopy the park gets hot in summer, even with the new shade sails.

The playground is nice and is enormous, it has tons of places to play at and has a soccer pitch near it.

There is some parking on Victory Boulevard and on Markham Avenue. The playground is a mid-sized thing that's a cut above your average, little suburban thing. There are open areas for recreation and a Cricket club. There's a public toilet near the playground. What I like most about this (as someone who predominantly heads to parks to explore/walk) is that the Gardiner's creek trail at the back (with the Golf Course beside it for some of the way on the other side of the creek to the trail) is quiet and a pretty enough walk. It's not really obvious on the map, but if you check out my photos, you'll see what I mean. There is also an off-leash area (according to the map) somewhere between the playground and the Cricket oval.

Excellent playground with lots of variety to keep the kids entertained. Good shade coverage and lots of seats.

Good park for a walk plenty of open grass area as well as a nice track down beside the river very peaceful

A Good Children Playground with Good & Adequate Safety Features. My wife & I every Weekend took our two Grandchildren there to play.
The Park needs to put in additional (1) More Table, 4 to 6. (2) Two to Three Shuttles, (3)
One or Two more BBQ & (4) One more Toilet.

Markham Reserve is a great place to catch up with family and friends. It has a very good play area for kids. The park is kept clean and tidy.

Daughter attended a play in the park "not a birthday party" party and I was very impressed by the facilities on offer and the equipment for the children.

Great park for the kids to play. Lots of equipment for all ages. Kids will be happy to stay and play for hours. Toilet facilities and water for drinking

There is an excellent playground here, at least four drinking taps, a toilet and a beginners skate park. There's also shade cloth over most of it, tables and lots of green grass both sides for the more energetic.

Really lovely park with a playground, skatepark and small basketball court. Plenty of open green space with lively trees. Gardiner's creek bike path connection goes past here.

Great park for a range of abilities and ages, recently shaded. Has a toilet and a mini skate park fenced off too.
