Market Lane Coffee - Queen St, Queen Victoria Market reviews
11What a great little spot, always quality from market land coffee. Nice music playing, such a soothing energy and space. Beautiful welcoming and friendly staff of course too, thank you
Rather than pick the usual milk-based espresso drinks I’d actually recommend going for the filter coffee. It takes time but you get to enjoy the liquid black gold on its own.
Market Lane was already a familiar brand when I was in Sydney.
I was impressed by the eye-catching canvas bags and various peripherals
This time I came to a store near the market
Barista impressed me deeply. She is a cute Japanese girl who goes well with the bright style in the store.
What impressed me even more was that I ordered a cap. When the other boy served the coffee, I said there was no chocolate powder. He said that the traditional Italian cap has no chocolate powder, but only relatively thick milk foam
Always on the road, always learning
Quiet spot next to the markets. I had the iced coffee flower spritz. Super fruity with a subtle sweetness. Paired nicely with the popular (and delicious) chocolate chip cookie. Staff are kind and patient, so many choices for the filter coffee. I sat outside and didn't feel rushed to leave even after I had finished. If I was local this would be my go to spot. Went back for the Colombia pour over. It is pricey $8.50 for a small cup but very worth it for the quality. You get what you pay for.
Someone put wrong photo of this hole in wall cafe.
Asian male barista with round glasses, you made our day. It’s the best long black I had for at least one year. Water not topped up fully so taste was there. Just perfect. You were busy at that moment but amazing quality work. Guess you really put effort for every coffee. If a manager reviews the reviews, he deserves a raise. He was on shift 19/03 around noon. Big thanks from me and Alex.
A friend of us recommended this place and we really like it!
The workers are really nice
And the coffee was so good
Good coffee and kind staff on the side of Victoria Market.
I would recommend to the business to have a Large option️The price of the coffee could be cheaper.
Its true that they don’t charge for any special milk neither extra shots.
Below Melbourne average but charges very high, not as good as the original shop that’s 2mins away
$6 for a small, burnt latte. I thought I'd give them a few goes, but it's been consistently below expectations.
I completely agree with the review from Jackie. $6 for a small, burnt coffee is not okay. I don't even think the sugar I asked for was added. It's a shame because I used to love coming here for my coffee.
If you’re at QV Market, pop in to try their coffee! Love it! Ordered a flat white for $6. You can pick some coffee beans as well.
