Very fun for the kids with great entertainment and the great big train that the kids always play on as well as a pretend road where the kids can come down with there scooters and learn road safety, a big play ground that has stuff for the little kids and the older one’s and a basketball court so you can bring a ball down and shoot some hoops. You can get great food near here with a pie shop with an ice cream shop next to it just down the road for so lunch and a treat afterwards. Super fun place. Would definitely recommend taking the kids down as we go there heaps and the kids never stop loving that place. There is also a table with a BBQ so you host fun birthday parties at the park as well. Have fun and maybe see you there.

This is a really awesome park with heaps of things to do. Play equipment, old steam train, hoops, bike tracks and more. We attended a birthday party there and many hours after there party had finished the kids still wanted to stay and play. A whole day of fun for young kids.
If you do any geocaching or find those rocks, there address rocks everywhere. Our group probably found close to 20 rocks.

The locals call this the "Bayswater Train Park" because one of its best features is a massive steam engine that the kids can climb on and play on. But even without the train, this is an amazing park, with a fantastic range of equipment, including a castle/fort, huge slides, a massive open-out swing, flying fox, climbing frame and more. And the recent addition of a traffic park for kids to ride their bikes around is just superb. A simply amazing park for kids of all ages and well worth the trip. Just give yourself a few hours to enjoy everything it has to offer.

Park was filthy! People had held parties there and strewn cut fruit squished through the asphalt, left bbq makings (bread and meat) in a mess under the tables and cans and wrappers everywhere. Tobacco and smoking paraphernalia in the community toilets. Someone had done a massive vomit and just thrown a jumper over it for someone else to clean up.

Take some pride and clean up after yourselves!

Good park, toilets not very clean but with a high amount of traffic more regular cleaning will fix this, coupled with some BBQs that didn't work, it still wasn't bad for the kids with the new little traffic light runs and the old trains for the kids to enjoy.

Great park especially the new kids traffic school, it's just annoying when smoking parents continue to smoke in the playground around their and other kids

The new traffic area is awesome and creates a wonderful safe environment to move between the park and lovely bbq / picnic area

Great park for little and big kids! It has a few different kinds of playgrounds, and a simulated traffic bike track with road signs and traffic lights. Lots of fun to be had. Quite popular on the weekend.

Great junior bike track! Nifty bike maintenance station. More councils should take this initiative!

One of the best parks in the area. I used to come here as a child about 30 years ago.
There is an old steam train the kids can get into.
A brand new bike track with working traffic lights so bring a bike or scooter for the kids.
There is a massive wooden playground with a top and bottom level.
A big elephant you have to climb up and the trunk is a slide.
And two lots of swing area.
Also a ropes course area
And a basketball area.
It is right next to the Bayswater Oval.

There is a toilet and drinking fountains. Lots of shadey areas too.

There is a BBQ area at the back (watch the kookaburra's don't steal a sausage). Behind the BBQ area is a bike/pedestrian path, the Dandenong Creek Trail. The creek is usually pretty dried up in Summer in this area.

I love this park. I used to take my kids here regularly and I still meet them here with their kidnappers when I can. Love the new traffic school and all the new fun things to do

This has always been a great park but the latest improvement to facilities and addition of mini traffic circuit has been fantastic.

Awesome park full of lots of different activities for kids of all ages. Has just been renovated and has the best junior bike track i have seen with working traffic lights and signs to learn from. Great new bbq area would highly recommend it for young families and birthday parties with undercover options.

The kids love it here. There is a huge park, beautiful walks and even an old train to play on. Definitely one of the better parks in Melbourne.
