Just a few points for people to consider:
1) teachers are biased.
2) one of the teacher (blond hair with glasses you know who) tried to confuse my kid and her friends with their gender.
3) bullying happening at school but the teachers chose to ignore.
4) drug dealing happening amongst the older kids at school and have reported several times however the matter was not taken seriously.
5) some students here are rude and need discipline, they trash everywhere they go, highpoint, Edgewater, braybrook gyms, you name it.

Finding work experience is tuff. Sometimes the careers people aren't even in A4 so you either have to wait or talk to them the next day. Either way we get blamed for not finding work experience sooner when we tried looking for them and they weren't even there. They keep saying to students that we had plenty of months to find work experience since December and how it is a long process.

First of all, If your struggling finding work experience for students, please hire more staff to ease the stress for the students and for yourself. In this way, finding work experience would be faster and more mangeable if there were more staff eager to help students with work experience.

Second of all, students tried their best to find work experience but either got rejected or had personal problems so they couldn't find one. If your gonna blame them and be discourageable to them, it wont be easier for the students.

Third of all, please stop blaming and giving excuses to students for not finding work experience when they either got rejected or had personal issues. Plus sometimes the carrers people aren't even in A4 to help us so we have to wait and get blamed. Please for next year be more gentle to them.

Although remain using a alt name, I'm sure many students would agree seeing how those who didn't find work experience yet are stressed out.

The sport MSA teacher are biased they were choosing the volleyball team and they only choose MSA and 2 main stream girls and they only choose 2 main stream girls cause they think we main stream girls can't do it

What a bad school, we go here and it is so bad, i wanna give u a 0.but thats not possible, so i give u, a 1.the classrooms are all portables and in such bad shape.students are actual monkeys and rude and need to be taught discipline.we dread going to school everyday and would gladly transfer.racism is very present, and teachers do absolutely NOTHING about it.even a teacher said the n word, she was not part of their culture.girls have been told to pull down their shorts because male teachers have been looking at them.teachers also do not let us go to the bathroom no matter under our conditions.also, the girls bathrooms have a minimum of two mosquitos in every stall, very unhygienic and scary.dont send ur kids here please because we are kids who can tell u so.thank us later ;)

Sports facilities are great but classrooms and science equipment are.below standard to say the least. Teachers are a hit and miss and school is not helpful for VCE struggles AT ALL. Only recommend if planning a career as an athlete.

Prioritises sport over education, and treats the mainstream students far below the sports academy students, the inequality of this school is probably the cause of the snotty rude kids they teach, I can't blame them.

Not quite sure what you’re teaching these kids but by the way they behave on public transport and act toward their community it clearly isn’t manners or respect.

I'm a year nine mainstream student at this school in 2022 and in my experiences i've seen people suspended for talking, given detention for not having enough work and this year all year nines were forced to sign an unfair contract enabling teaches who sent us out of class once to give us a saturday detention and we cannot ever be slightly out of uniform and in the first week of school the year nine coordinators gave my class an unfair seating plan because one student was sent out of class.if your is sport academy you are also favored significantly.last year i ran a petition to change some uniform rules and it was shut down because the parents weren't involved.the teachers only listen to parents not students.

Hello, Im a former VCE student studying at Maribyrnong College and I have to say my experience studying at Maribyrnong College is horrible and depressing. Majority of the teacher DO NOT care about teaching students about their subjects and only teach us because its part of the job and want to get a paycheck. Its really unfair for students who is willing to learn and succeed in VCE. Its appalling how teachers are not "punishing" students who miss behave in class and letting them run wild in class without any sort of "punishment", I did not like any of my classes other than one because my teacher want us to succeed but the rest of my 4 classes are just bad with students who just want to miss behave all the time.
Furthermore, bullying is present and the teachers again DOES NOT care about students and teaching other than getting their paycheck.
This school is horrible and SHOULD get shutdown or destroyed and make it into a car parking spot

Shocking school, had worst experience. They spend government funding on building/making new sports academy signs when they don't even have the common decency to build shelters for VCE kids who stand in rain, hail or shine to access lockers. No proper common room for VCE, and frankly year 7 and 8's are treated better than senior school (apart from the fact they are forced to do bin duty during class time). Priorities need fixing

The teachers are really good and the problem lies with the uneducated students that have no regard for their future, big up Mr Maybon and Mr Scott someone give them a raise

This school is so amazing Ive seen it its so cool two canteens amazing classes its everything a highschool needs i recommend your child goes to this school so yeah. PERFECT DREAM SCHOOL️️

Good school with above average scholastic results and FANTASTIC sporting department for the Sports Academy kids

Convenience in terms of location and close proximity to transport -> A+, Sporting facilities -> A+ It terms of the actual eduction, hmm

Okay this school is a complete scam. When paying payments for thing she such as excursions, the front office doesn’t give receipts! What a joke! This year, the school had told me that I owe them $200, and I don’t, because I pay everything, but they don’t give receipts to show evidence that you have paid. They were gonna charge me things that were payed 3 years ago, yet the school says I hadn’t payed it, and also on the invoice, it had said that I had borrowed an instrument, but I don’t even learn an instrument at the school! What a joke! This school is a complete fraud where the principle keeps on making money to mess kids over, DO NOT RECOMMENED AND DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED BY THE TERRIBLE SCHOOL SYSTEM OF FRAUD. AND THE FACILITIES ARE JUST PLAIN AWFUL.

Its ok i think they should do like a school dance at the end of every term tho to just relax the kids
