I love this deli they stock only the highest quality products. Far superior to supermarkets. I hope they stay forever

Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience here. The person servings us was not welcoming at all and made the experience difficult. I paid $13 for a roll, just ham and cheese. The bread was dry, just two slices of cheese without any offer for condiments. Overall an unsatisfying experience. Wouldn’t come back.

Exactly what you want from an Iconic authentic Italian family run coffee house with A LOT of extras everything you could ever want.

My main source for Van Houten’s Cacao, and other special treats. It’s a place of discovery for me, and the service and product knowledge is pretty good, too.

Doesn't look much from the street, but Maria's is a tardis of delicious European meats, cheeses and dry goods. As a bonus, it has a really worthwhile bottle shop attached, with a great selection of imported beer and wine. The prices are reasonable, and the service and vibe are friendly and local. Will keep coming back!

Nice and authentic selection of goodies. My go to place when I feel like a special treat. Oh! And the limoncello!:)

One of the best shops on the street - a hidden gem.

The deli meats and other products are really top notch, and a higher rotation than I first though due to the local clientele who've learned how good it is.

Aussie ham/bacon is almost absent in supermarkets, but these guys have free range and regular aussie bacon/ham at supermarket prices.

Cheap import beer and wine, lots of continental products that disappeared from supermarket shelves long ago.

Fantastic range of well-priced italian goodies and booze! Love popping in for some freshly made 'Nduja, some local brews and a chat.

I travel weekly to Brunswick from Bendigo and my morning is not complete without a freshly made ham, cheese and tomato roll from Maria's. Daniel and the rest of the staff are what make shopping here a pleasure. Apart from my roll, I've recently started trying their hot food freshly prepared for lunch and I can certainly vouch for the delicious meatballs in home made tomato sauce and the grilled vegetables.
