Maria is just amazing. I took my jacket in to be altered and she was so busy with orders but squeezed me in to have it ready for my birthday, which I’m so grateful for. Her work is flawless and she clearly is incredibly meticulous in her work.
Her boutique is elegant, stylish and so inviting. Her demeanour is warm, friendly and I give her my absolute highest rating. I’ll definitely be going back and recommending her without hesitation.

Maria did the most incredible job on my wedding gown alterations. My dress was very intricate with a lot of beading and layers and I needed a lot of complex adjustments. She was so kind and patient with me which I really appreciated as I was very stressed trying to fit into my dress post COVID lockdowns! Her attention to detail is phenomenal and I could not recommend her more highly. We're so lucky to have such a skilled seamstress in Bass Coast! Thank you so much Maria for perfecting my dream wedding dress!

This review comes a few months after I had the good fortune of requiring the emergency services of Maria. My apologies to you Maria. This review has been in my head since I returned home. As my story goes I was visiting my dad in Inverloch in December/January 2022/23. When I get back to see dad I do most of my shopping in Wonthaggi. It was suggested to drop in and see Maria to ask if she could repair my Summer linen dress shorts. I know this sounds fairly simple and straight forward. The reality being that I live in Oslo, Norway, and getting clothes repaired here is ridiculously expensive to the point that it is better off throwing your clothes out and buying new ones. Yes! That bad! I was heading back to Melbourne to fly back to Norway the day after I picked up my shorts. So time was running out. Maria, you rescued me. Saved my favourite shorts from the scrap heap. And I know that this type of service is not your main focus and the reason you have such a beautiful shop full of amazing dresses. I just wanted to pay it back to you for your kindness and willingness to help a fellow Aussie who has lived away from home so long that he has no clue what to do or where to go to get things done anymore. You are a true gem! The ladies who you assist with their dream dresses are in wonderful hands. Thank you!

Thank you Maria for helping me pick the most amazing wedding dress for my special day. Maria was so easy and helpful to work with, she was super responsive to correspondence, and did amazing work on what alternations I required on the dress and a he always made me feel really comfortable whilst trying dresses on and gave honest feedback. I’m so thankful and glad that I could find this amazing gem of a dress in my local community.

I finally had my first fitting today to try several dresses on after having to reschedule a few times after getting sick. Maria was so lovely and welcoming.
I felt really comfortable and happy that I didn't feel big in the dresses like I had in other stores.

She took her time with me, perhaps over two hours with me and my mother, she was not pushy and was so accommodating! I felt that she really wanted me to have the dress I felt the best in. Maria is amazing, such a wonderful and beautiful person, her passion for perfection, pride in her work & devotion to her customers is outstanding - I had a problem which needed to be sorted out in a very short amount of time and Maria just dropped everything, created & solved my dilemma in 2 days - An Absolutely Fantastic Lady!
