Manuel's Fish And Chips Langwarrin

Tasteless. Rubbery. Stale food. They should be crisp and golden. You didnt even bother putting salt on the food. We miss the greek run fish and chip shops. Tbey knew how to make good f&c. I dont get takeout often but when i pay for food, I expect it to be worth it. Not good at all.

DISGUSTING! Picked up our order today, we received rancid, greasy burnt food!
I ripped open a burnt potato cake and the potato inside was grey… it looked and smelt like old produce! I rang to complain as the food was so bad, I’m actually shocked that they thought it was ok to wrap it up and sell it! I was told that our order was perfect…no problem lady! They couldn’t care less.
Please, don’t risk buying anything from these new owners.

Customers be warned
$127 order through Uber, Burger not delivered. Called the store within 2 minutes, they state the driver left Burger behind. I said I'd send someone to pick it up. We get there they change their story to Uber driver took the Burger and if we wanted another Burger we would have to pay for it. Absolutely disappointing in the lack of service and trying to rip me off. I didn't want an uber refund, I wanted our food.
Never again. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but with this lack of care and service I will definitely go elsewhere.

Had our usually take away from here last Saturday early July 2023 and found the fish and chips horrible of which was rare for this shop.
I rang tonight and asked if the shop has recently changed ownership and the answer was yes.

Hopefully it’s just a learning period the new owner is going through.
Will try again next month to see if the good standard returns.
Be cautious at the mo, hamburgers are still tip top tho.

Used to be great. Never going back. Over cooked chips and potato cakes. Ordered 8 calamari and they were inedible. Like overcooked bread sticks. Not even real calamari anymore, just processed junk

Regularly order spring roll but tonights was definetly off smelt funny ended up in the bin rang the shop and spoke to owner said tat they just got new delivery this mornig I dont think that was fresh wont be ordering again please make sure you check you stuff before you sell to public

The best fish & chip shop we've ever been to. Burgers made with love, chips fried in fresh oil everyday.

This used to be the best fish n chip shop in Langwarrin, now…well pity Manuel sold up because now it’s not quite the same. Flake serves seem to have gotten smaller, potato cakes are more “batter” than potato etc.

Only ordered seafood/crab sticks so cant speak for everything else but they are absolutely divine, yummy fluffy batter not oily and salted just how i like them. Also very friendly service. Keep going back for them whenever im in the area.

These people really know how to cook fish and chips right they did an awesome job on the dim Sims and even better on the fried flake oh and I can't forget the chips those were the best chips from a fish and chips shop I've had 100% would go again
