We celebrated a birthday here today. The menu was flavoursome and appetising. The accompanying wines were delicious and well selected with the food. Our glasses never remained empty for long. Shannon & the team were friendly, attentive and great value. Our day was wonderful. Great venue, food & bevies. Thank you.

Had lunch with family here and everything was going ok right up until the entree were served. Food was tasty enough, the serves were adequate and staff were friendly and efficient. Then everything fell apart.
The mains took more than an hour and we had to ask 4 times before we got served. Even then, after waiting more than an hour, the Rabbit Ragu and the lamb were utterly disappointing. The rabbit dish was so terribly bitter, that hubby actually left it halfway through. What a waste for a $47 main! We should have stopped eating at the entree point and just left!
We won’t be going back and wish we’d chosen a better place to spend our money because this was one pricey piece of disappointment.: (

Found this new little winery for lunch. Food was amazing and the wine is some of the best on the peninsula. Definitely a must go to winery. Thanks Michael for the great service

Wonderful view, beautiful food, great wine plus an extensive wine list and amazing staff, especially Micheal. Very tranquil sitting on the deck under huge market umbrellas, enjoying their food and wine. Will definitely visit again.

This review is for the accomodation not the wine. We were pretty disappointed overall, mainly due to our expectations being unrealistic because we were not informed better from the Quattro’s website. Lovely area in general but the accomodation itself had a few issues for us, especially for $400 per night. A couple of key things that are just our honest opinion: (1) there is zero internet and phone connectivity, not just “intermittent” as stated inside the room. If we knew that ahead of time, then maybe OK because you would be prepared for the digital detox. But if you are not prepared for it, then it suddenly causes quite a bit of inconvenience. (2) The door entry code is in an email you have received but can’t access because you have no internet. Take a screenshot or you have to drive to internet access and take a screenshot (3) The bed is like concrete. One of those super firm cheap ones that are probably good long term investments. Wake up with sore muscles. Some people like this maybe. (4) there is no information up front that pastries will be left for you outside the door. We drove to Dromana to buy stuff for breakfast which we wouldn’t have done if we had been told the pastries were coming. Nice enough pastries, but information completely lacking (5) there was no shampoo, only conditioner. No one to speak to about it as there is no on-site reception. Generally not what you’d expect for the money. (6) a serious billing issue which I hope is fixed soon.

Cellar door/ then a fantastic casual lunch served in the PDR with their great Pinot Noir and spectacular views across the valley.amazing staff.especially Michael.and this was a 17 degree windy day in Feb.

Book my Christmas party here for 11 people. Then got a call from the restaurant, they have cancelled our party cause they taken another 25 people for another party earlier on and no longer can accommodate our party of 11

What a little treasure. We were lucky enough to have a host who was quite new, so she was really nice and helpful. I loved being able to make a booking and it wasn’t too busy which makes the experience much nicer. The wine was great with a few surprises. We left with multiple bottles

We had not heard of this winery before visiting. The purpose of our holiday was actually to visit peninsula hot springs which we did but then booked in Mantons estate as an after thought but boy did this little tucked away winery surprise us! We thought it was quaint, warm, clean, staff were extremely friendly and gracious and the manager Kate an absolute delight. Her graciousness and upbeat energy level, if you are lucky enough to get her on your day of stay, will uplift or enhance the holiday vibe you are in! The Epicurean Quattro Restaurant was excellent and the pizzas, to die! Thanks Kate and thank you Elizabeth the wine tasting in charge, you were both wonderful warm and friendly and made our stay so special. We will come again.

Dropped into Manton's creek estate on a whim as we were heading down to rye, and experienced a beautiful venue with warm and inviting staff, the cellar door manager was extremely friendly and helpful in making a wine selection and provided a number of great laughs. Will return soon!

The cellar door and restaurant both have lots of good wine to choose from. We enjoyed a glass of wine by the fireplace in the restaurant area, fire was dead but we went at the end of lunch service. Hopefully the fire is stoked on our next visit, which we look forward to because the wine was good and the service was warm and friendly.

Set with beautiful scenery and amazing wines, can only fault one thing that we were there for only a day, absolutely beautiful can not wait to return! I think her name was Cass absolutely amazing very friendly and kind very approachable. Amazing service!

Pretty poor. Looking at all of the reviews, it appears they fall over on customer service at the cellar door. They knew there were customers waiting. Waited for 15 minutes, no service. Knock on restaurant door and we get a straight “I’m making a coffee” (for herself), waited for another 5 minutes, still nobody. Walked out, gone down the road to red hill estate. Much better experience.

My friends and I visited the cellar door for a tasting. We were greeted with resistance about our arrival and tasting request. The host seemed annoyed but there were no other customers there. The engagement felt scripted and when I asked for a spittoon to discard my left over wine, the host advised that due to strict covid measures they were not being used. However we had visited other wineries the same day and this was not an issue. As a designated driver, i felt pressure to drink the entirety of each tasting as i wasnt able to discard the remainder of my glass. The strict covid measures did not ask us to sanitise upon entry, or use disposable water cups nor did the host wear a face mask. She also broke a wine glass whilst drying it in front of us and used the same cloth to dry our glasses. Overall we did buy some wine but we felt our visit was untimely and an inconvenience. I won't visit again.

Beautiful venue, although service was very disappointing during the wine tasting. She was uninviting, unenthusiastic and quite rude to me and my guests on my birthday. Not very professional.

Amazing experience, a place to relax and unwind. The cellar door manager was friendly, helpful with a few laughs. One of the best cellar door experiences. Thanks Cass.

What a wonderfull experience. Thank you Elizabeth for your warm hospitality and making our time at the winery a very memorable moment. And to top it all off the wine was great too.

Absolutely abhorrent service, incredibly rude staff and completely unprofessional.

Upon arrival for a tasting booked for 14 we were directed away from the main service area as they were hosting a wedding party and it was time for speeches. It is entirely their responsibility to organise privacy for a private event and not host it in the front lobby. They then informed us that they could only serve 10 due to RSA laws yet accepted two walk in groups of 4 while we were there. We were then treated like we were a major issue for them to serve us around the side (where we were directed to sit due to the wedding party) with glasses poured in bulk and left for us to collect ourselves with no information on the wine we were tasting. We were then asked to leave early because they were packing up the side area even though our booking was for the main section and it was opened later.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
