Mansfield Thai restaurant and cafe

Walked in without a booking and they accommodated our table of 7 with no problems. Very welcoming and friendly and the food was great

Food was great and delicious. Staffs were friendly. Great way to enjoy a hot soup during winter

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mansfield Thai restaurant. We had late lunch there. The service was friendly and attentive, and their Tom Yum Fried Rice was outstanding! Perfectly balanced flavours and generous portions. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely terrible experience. Would not recommend unless you want to make a reservation with the bathroom afterwards. Peanut stir fry was full of oil, but no flavour. The sweet and sour had the look and smell of dirty dish water. The Singapore noodles also had no flavour and the chicken was dry. After calling to complain, and bringing the food back the next day, I originally was only going to be offered 50% refund even though the containers were still full. I've also never experienced such a small container of food for $23, I don't think it would have feed a 1 year old.

We got food the other night and all of it was absolutely horrendous. I woke up last from cold sweats and nightmares of small servings of stir fry dishes chasing me through the house.

I complained about how dry and revolting the food was, I'd expected a phone call in return to resolve this issue. However I was told they got busy and didn't get a chance. Apparently there is a Thai food rush at 9pm on a Tue. Watch out for the rush when you order here, you won't get a response.

Well, we specifically expressed that we needed the meals to be gluten free (one of the group is coeliac) and were reassured that they would prepare our food to accommodate. When we got the food back home we noticed the noodles were obviously not gluten free. When we called to enquire, they reassured us that they indeed were gluten free and it wasn’t until we requested they double check the packaging that they admitted there was in fact gluten. They then proceeded to ask us to bring the noodles back and they only upon our return made new noodles whilst our other dishes became cold at home.
They did not apologise, they did not offer to replace the other (now cold) food, they did not offer a refund or credit.
We will not be returning. This was an incredibly expensive meal for something that could have poisoned us.

You will be amazed with the service and the quality of the food here, very tasty and delicious. Great portion sizes and a warm atmosphere.

Doesnt usually review but I had too, received a high rating from trip advisor but its for from being an authentic thai restaurant. Food was not seasoned well, eggs used in pad thai were not fresh really had a bad aftertaste. Prawns were undercooked, beef was too hard. I dont know with the coconut rice its far too sweet. Wont ever come back.

Very disappointing. I ordered off the menu on their own website only to be over charged saying they have a new menu.super over priced for very average food. We spent over $100 for two people.

The worst take out food ever! If we had sat in, I would have sent food back for a refund. Ordered a basic Veggie Pad Thai, completely tasteless and I watched the “cook” make coconut rice by scooping boiled rice into a tub, pouring coconut milk on top, warmed in the microwave. Unsure how this place has some 5 star reviews, maybe there’s been a change in owners. Will add the roti was nice.

I never give bad reviews but had no choice. The worst pad Thai and coconut rice I’ve ever tasted. I hate wasting food but it wasn’t edible. The food is incredible expensive for what it is.

This would have to be the worst meal we have had in Mansfield. The curry was reheated in a microwave and was hot and cold.you could tell it had been reheated. The curry was like water and the meat looked like it was cooked a week prior.
The special prawn fried rice was like water, I ate one prawn and had to spit it out as it was soggy and you could tell it wasn't fresh. When my partner and I arrived home we were sick and it was a race to the bathroom. Never will we ever go to this establishment again. I have notified the health department as this is dangerous to humans

Poor experience. $160 for a couple of dishes. Every dish tasted the same, sickly sweet. If you want to eat bad food, please come, it won’t disappoint you.

The wrost Thai food I ve ever eating spent over $120. On range different thing. (Takeaway) even the dogs didn’t eat it very disappointed

My friend got very sick after eating. Eggs smelled of ammonia (old eggs) - Everything was frozen. Single-use plates and cutlery given for dine-in, the bathroom was in shocking condition.staff charged us for tea and sauces but forgot our drinks, and had to be reminded about sauces. All dishes came apart and slow

Waited an hour for our food, definitely not authentic Thai food.cheap plastic bowls with a handful of stir-fry vegetables. Expensive for the low quality. Shame it was the only thing open, would starve next time.

Omg, the food is horrible, they say Thai food but can’t even come closer to Thai food and nothing like Thai food.spending lots of money, and I couldn’t even eat my food. I don’t want to put people down but they shouldn’t make the food that they can’t.the customer service is 10 out of 10.of course the service is have to be good because they know that the food is horrible.
People might have different taste, and everyone is not the same so I’m not gonna say I won’t recommend.if you want to try for your self you can but I won’t never ever gonna go back.thank you for your service but not for the food.
