Mansfield Mt.Buller Bus Lines reviews
15Took the Vline to Melbourne. What a great deal. $10.00 one way to Southern X. Comfortable, great driver and on time. 3hrs. Going to take my honey for a weekend getaway with no driving. Makes it all worth while.
Great bus line. Accommodated our change of return time with no fuss. Bus drivers were safe and friendly. I couldn't recommend them enough.
Got stuck at Mansfield having not booked a car pass while driving to Mt. Buller from Melbourne.
Got the recommendation to take Mt. Buller Bus Lines. Terribly disappointed overall after waiting for it for over 4 hours to get a seat.
- too very overpriced for a short distance
- the booking system is terribly slow and blocks seats from multiple user and the booking eventually does not go through
- i did not get a healthy or supportive response from the staff there
- the bus surprisingly and literally went empty with several passengers just looking for a to and fro seat. Wonder how is it run.
Decided to drive up the mountain as far as i was allowed. And surprisingly was allowed in. No dramas. Just go up and wait for a bit to get a car pass. You'll get it
No need to shell out hundreds of dollars
Easy booking service. Great prices. Friendly staff and bus drivers. Super clean and prompt
I recently cancelled a booking 2 months out from the booking date and they have kept 20% of the total charge which was $600. This was never communicated verbally and was only noted in badly worded small text at the bottom of the already paid invoice. Do not book unless you are 100% sure you will be using their service or even better, use Busfleet instead!
Very dependable, good value, avoids messing around with chains, car parks, waiting for taxis, and you get to your lodge sooner unless you're distant from the terminal.
Poor customer service, one good driver, couple of rude ones. Buses ok. The service is very expensive. The depot in Mansfield is very dated and looking tired with no waiting room seating inside. Unfortunately not a great experience. Please take this review as a constructive one to improve the service and nothing else:)
I made an error in a booking and spoke with a man on the phone. I’d made a lot of bookings and one was incorrect. He gave great customer service to fix it. The bus ran on time every day. One day conditions coming down the mountain were horrible but I felt safe in the bus. I would use this service again to get myself from Mansfield to Mt Buller Village. Easy, efficient and customer friendly
Ticketing Service is utterly rubbish. Can't make any changes to time schedule and had to cancel those tickets of $460 which was supposed to be refunded within 21 days. Still waiting on my refunds. The lady on customer service has no other way of handling such situation other than depending on the "IT Team" to actually do it.
I haven't had the chance to ride on this bus because of the COVID lockdown that came suddenly around 16th of July 2021. As a result the trip was cancelled, and apart from that it took 2 months to get my refund, 10$ were deducted from my refund under Admin fees. So I don't understand why was I supposed to pay for something that got cancelled because of a government decision? I know that the company is trying not to lose money but I don't want to lose money either especially for something that wasn't my fault. Thus, although I haven't had experience with using the bus itself for transportation, I have experienced the customer service and policy and I am not happy with it at all.
Reliable bus service - however it’s getting increasingly expensive. 2 people Return bus fare up the mountain from Mansfield was just under $160. It’s cheaper to drive a car up, and pay $60 day entrance fee.
I had one of the best experience in my life. I went with my friends we've decided to go in the last minute. It just takes an hour to do the booking and everything. Definitely no regret
Always had faultless service in the 20+ years I've travelled on mmbl coaches. Well done mmbl team
The actual ride was easy and convenient, the driver's are great for this service
Very expensive though, lack of competitors allows these guys to charge a small fortune
A professional company who has obviously been busing people up and down the slopes for many years. We had a great experience up the mountain, the local Buller taxi's were a little chaotic and sometimes took unnecessary driving risks but were clean and warm. Our trip back down the mountain was a little nerve wracking, the weather was better and the road was clear so I felt like the bus driver was driving a little too fast at times and bumped into the gutter a number of times - would I use their service again - Yes - do I think it's safer than driving up in bad conditions - Yes.
