Manor Lakes Fish & Chips

Had takeout before from this shop and it wasn't bad.came to the physical shop, it was a whole different experience.waited at the counter but no staff attend to me.had to walk out feeling frustrated.won't patron again.poor service

I've been there twice not by choice, all the others in the area where shut due to Xmas break the kids wanted fish.n chips if you would even call it that I would of eaten the paper it was wrapped in and got more taste, absolutely discussing like they were cooked 20 times over, 8 dollars of chips was like one hand full the oil look likes it never gets changed the potato cakes where hard as rock the service is shocking run by kids with no direction from the owner, (not there) fault I gave it a chance 2 strikes and your out, I resorted to bining it

Food was absolutely disgusting. Food sat there for an hour whilst we waited then they realised it was ours. No salt. Fish was over cooked. They Didn’t even offer to make a fresh batch. I was in a rush by this stage so didn’t have time to even enforce it. Customer service was terrible. Will never go back. My dog even refused to eat it.

I tried this place because of the 4.7 rating on Uber eats but man this has to be the worst fish & chips I’ve ever had. Everything was very unpleasant to eat and dry chips and crumbed fish that felt like I was eating flavoured cardboard, sorry but never again.

We have gone here for years and foods always great, fish portions always massive so feels like great value and chips are always crispy.

Chips were brown? Stale and cold, souvlaki was so soggy the pita fell apart when you touched it, not wrapped and difficult to eat. Unlikely to order from here again

Really bad fish and chips shop, they give you soo little and when you walk into the shop it smells like swimming pool

Just ordered the lunch pack which is a fkake a dim sim and a potatocake plus a serve of chips.
Very nice food and generous portion of chips which I was unable to finish on my own.
Would i go back again? Yes!

Not happy with the meal I received from this place. Very dissapointing, all of the food had been over cooked and was hard and dried out.

The batter on the flake was not even batter, it was like hard breadcrumbs. It was so hard and crunchy and very over cooked, stiff as a board.

After a few years of not buying from this shop I thought I would give them another try and the food is of even lower quality than I can remember. This will most definetely be the last time I ever order from Manor Lakes fish and chips again.

Purchased $6 worth of chips. Gives new definition to minimum chips. Looking for a new Fish and Chip shop. Not very good value for money!

Food was great. Nice sized crispy fish, chips were perfect. The right amount of salt. What more do you want. 10/10.

Just ordered from this place. They forgot to include the tomato sauce I ordered. Made the whole meal inedible. Can't recommend this place and they've lost a costumer for life.

Absolutely disgusting. Spent $63 for dinner so we could put up the Christmas tree. I can’t stand canned spaghetti but should’ve had that. Chips were as though they were cooked this afternoon, batter on the fish would’ve scratched paint on someone’s car it was that stale and old, and the fish bites I bought for my granddaughter tasted like dirt. We will now remember to never order fish and chips before Wednesday again when Sam’s is back open.

Ordered here just for the chips multiple times. Tasty but sometimes the chips have too much of the fishy odour; maybe the chips are cooked in the same oil? Well it is a fish and chip shop but I prefer chips not to have too much of that taste - tasty none the less! As always, best eaten freshly cooked and straight away.

Good pricing and quantity. Normally they give u an extra potato cake or pineapple fritter if u or 2 or more. Normally pretty quick turnaround from order to food ready. Sometimes the chips are a bit hit and miss and sometimes not enough salt but a good local fish and chips store.

Good food but Door Dash lets them down massively.as the food is always delivered to the wrong address in Jubilee and the customer service for door dash is horrible because you’re phoning another country and some of them don’t even understand what you’re saying when you speak English. My account keeps getting deactivated for no reason which means I can’t order which takes business away from the fish & chip place. If Manor lakes fish and chips didn’t use DoorDash and used any other courier service it would be much better. I feel sorry for them because the fish & chip place have to make more food to be delivered to customers for the stuff up of DoorDash and their delivery drivers

BEST veggie burger I have had at a fish and chip place so far. One of the best I have had overall.

Avoid if you can!
They almost never get the orders right. We bought from them a few times because of our location (same items ordered everytime) and everytime the food sizes differ. Cannot tell the difference in size of a junior flake and a regular flake except for the difference in $.
Flakes are too thin and heavily coated in batter which peels off like a thick layer. Chips are cardboard, over cooked (crunchy and burnt end pieces) and never seasoned properly despite asking for extra seasoning of chicken salt.

Today I bought a hamburger from manor lakes fish and chips shop and found a peace of wire inside

Being Good Friday we rang well in advance to place an order, 1hr wait time, we were ok with this. Arrived on time, confronted by massive queues simply to pay for orders. Queued for 30 min, got to the front to pay for order, told another 30min for order. Absolutely ridiculous
