We were in the area and were just killing time. Staff were really obliging and helpful. My son spotted an Adam Jones signature Gibson Les Paul and despite telling the employee multiple times that we could not afford it, he got it down off the wall and let my son plug in and play for about 10 minutes. It made his (and my) day, and despite being well outside his price range, it gave him something to aspire to.

Terrific music shop in Melbourne, and most of you reading this already knew that.
Today I was helped by Zac who was super knowledgeable and helped me assemble the gear I needed to achieve a particular guitar tone. Some of my questions were very specific, and even if he didn’t know the answer off the top of his head, he knew how help me solve for the sound I was searching for.
Such a great experience. Will return as I continue to assemble my pedalboard.

Massive help from one of the employees there! My original plan was to window shop for an electric guitar and upon looking, one employee recommended me a guitar and made me test it. Immediate i fell inlove with it and told the employee i havent played for 4years and wanted to play again. He then hooked me up with everything I needed including a free guitar case since they lost the box for mine. Couldnt be more happier and will come back for future purchases!

My absolute first stop when looking for anything to do with musical instruments. I’ve purchased MIDI keyboards, guitars and associated paraphernalia from them over the years. Really friendly and particularly knowledgeable staff make it an easy choice.

We bought some music equipment and instruments for my son from Mannys recently. Among the staff Zac helped us with test driving several guitars and amps. With Zac's excellent assistance my son made his decisions on multiple items relatively quickly and we finalised our purchase within an hour or so. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. My son is enjoying playing them all now and especially raving about the natural wood finish Ibanez electric guitar every day. They've got one very happy customer. Definitely recommend Mannys.

Awesome range and service! Came in with my partner who was looking to buy a bass. We were served by Regan who was super helpful and knowledgable, the store was quite busy but he found a spot to set us up so we could try out a range of basses to find the right one.

Just wanna give a big shout out to the bloke who helped me on a friday night 10 minutes before close time. I was in a rush and rocked up frazzled and unprepared. This dude was so cool calm and collected i kinda relaxed. Phenomenal service mate you are an asset to your current and any future employer. Beautiful store too. 10/10 retail experience. Pricing better or same as online. Go into this store you wont be sorry.

I really enjoyed my visit to Manny's. I got to try a few Les Pauls one being a custom shop variant. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and I was not badgered into buying the guitars. I did buy a few items out of respect for the store and it's great staff. Regan was especially helpful. Go see if him in store for a great experience.

What a difference a year makes. Service has gone way down hill and this time I went in with intention to buy and left empty handed and pretty annoyed and content to never come back*

Went in today for a browse. Left with a new Gibson haha. The service was really friendly and massive shout for the 2 guys that helped look after me. Good to chat to and more than happy to help me with pricing. Lovely arrangement of gear as well and such a great environment. I didn’t want to leave. Thanks everyone and can’t recommend enough.

I love this place to death best customer service in Melbourne, if only they had more of an impression bass collection I would love to see some more musician. I love these people

I give 4 stars for Tom, but if I had to give a rating the two girls and one young guy, I would of given 1 star for amazing lack of communication.
So I would of in the past only given 1 star because of Manny himself, but now his gone I hoped for difference? Tom stepped up. The young guy might of been on work experience, but I doubt that, and both girls on two different occasions left me waiting saying they would be back with a more expensive and better quality guitar and after about 15 mins both times I went out and asked where they were and the reply was " gone to lunch"
WOW, yes I was moved how much habitual humans can be, but luckily this guy Tom took over and gave me a super deal.
