Lorraine is a fantastic singing teacher. She categories different singing styles into animals, which makes it relatable to young learners to grasp the concepts. She is very engaging with the student and motivating, has such positive influence on my child's learning journey. I highly recommend her.

Lorraine is an amazing teacher. She has such a great way of explaining theory and technique using analogies, pictures and imagination. Her quickly sense of humour also makes her a beautiful human being. I have enjoyed lessons with her immensely, and she will be missed very much here in Melbourne. I have been thoroughly enjoying my singing lessons with Lorraine from Manifold Melodies. Lorraine is very skilled in getting across the technical skills I needed to improve my singing. Extremely happy. The teaching methods are very successful and produce great results. Our little boy, 5 years old, made a great progress in such a short time. He becomes so excited every time when we go for the new lesson. We love every minute spent with Ms Lorraine Manifold.

Honestly, as a mother of a 8 year old daughter who loves to sing, I couldn’t of found a more suited teacher than Lorraine. She made singing fun and enjoyable and the techniques she used to train my daughter were age appropriate and fun! My daughter learnt so much over the course of a year. I strongly recommend manifold melodies. I attended singing workshops and choirs leads and conducted by Lorraine over the past five years. I learned new vocal cord techniques each time that helped me to improve my singing skills and build my confidence over time. I appreciate her patience and encouragement to achieve my goals for a better singing voice.

I booked my daughter in for a piano lesson she said we could pay as you go once we got to her house and after the lesson she said she wants full payment for the full year

Don’t you ever yell at my son again just because he didn’t play one note on the piano correctly doesn’t give you the right to yell

The Manifolds are some of the most talented singing teachers you will ever meet. They have built my and my husbands confidence over many years both in our voices and in our ability to perform. It has been a gift, a pleasure and a blessing knowing them and learning from them and I hope I continue to have them as friends and teachers for many years to come. It was fantastic singing with Lorraine as our choir conductor! She is a perfectionist and has a clear vision of what she is expecting from us. However she always guides and instructs us and brings her point across with a lot of humour. We literally laugh out loud during practice, which I am sure contributes to relaxing our vocal chords and bringing out the best in us

In conducting her weekly choir, Lorraine is good natured, caring and motivational. No-one is left behind and there is a continuous focus on improving technique, but not at the expense of enjoyment.

Having also had the opportunity for personal attention to my singing voice, Lorraine quickly identified the key issues and areas of focus that I needed to address my learning goals, and gave me sound techniques which I found immensely helpful, in terms I could easily understand and which were targeted at my level of experience.

Definitely worth 5/5 stars, if not more.

Lorraine is an excellent choir conductor. My singing voice has definitely improved and feels more comfortable, and the choir is always so much fun with her!

Please ignore these nonsense 1 star reviews and read only the ones that have higher ratings as they are true students of Manifold Melodies.

Lorraine is the best teacher I ever had, I am the music teacher myself and I recommend her to anyone because She knows what she doing!

My daughter has been having singing/ music lessons with Lorraine for a number of years. The skills she has been taught have really improved her abilities. Lorraine is a beautiful teacher who’s connected well and really has helped inspire Paris when she’s hit challenging times, lost her focus or doubted her own abilities. My daughter is likely to move forward with this as a career and I have to give a lot of credit to the incredible teacher she’s had.
