We believed the good reviews and foolishly booked well ahead for a very special family occasion for a Sunday lunch. The occasion I'd advised them of was not acknowledged and the lack of warmth on arrival and throughout our lunch was incredibly embarrassing. There was a lovely female waitress who did her best, but unfortunately the male manager/owner was the complete opposite and I would go as far as saying he was hostile and clearly didn't want to be there that day. We ordered lobster and he came back holding a small one up and said "One hundred and forty" which we of course assumed to be dollars as as he conveniently didn't finish the sentence with the word "grams" or say "1.45 kgs despite him later claiming he was referring to its weight. Clever tactic! One bite size morsel each atop of four small bowls of sweet drenched and unappetizing noodles that we were charged extra for ended up costing us a total of $600 with the only other things ordered being 1 serve of fried rice, 1 lemon chicken and 3 coffees! To add further insult, the rice and chicken were tiny serves and certainly nothing special by way of flavour or presentation. So of course we are completely stunned by any good reviews for this joint. The food is anything but exceptional and unless you enjoy shocking service, below par food whilst having your arms and legs ripped off, I recommend you avoid this place at ALL costs! There are so many other wonderful places - starting with Gold Leaf down the road where we usually enjoy exceptional food and service- and would have booked in the first place had we not believed the positive reviews here!

Bbq roast pork spare ribs (Pic 2) is served cold and totally different than the picture in the menu.
Soup taste average.
Lobster with egg noodles is good.
The clams some are fishy and very chewy, and some are fresh.
Quail is good
Scallop and veggie are nice too.

The bad point is the services here.
We are still having our appertizer and soup, and suddenly, our lobster was out. Luckily, there's a nice gentleman there asking me if I would like to hold the rest of the dishes before we finish our lobster. Maybe I did not request that I would like to finish my appertizer before coming out the main dishes.

They just throw your eating plate like they are rushing. Is like eating in Chinatown at small restaurants where they don't really care to serve you.

We finish 2 bottles of wine. They put the wine in the middle of the table. We need to pour the wine ourselves. I really don't mind doing that, it is a common thing for me, but I see another table where there's 2 foreigners, they refill their glass wine and they put their bottle at another table.
Why did we get a different treatment?
