Literally wanted a place to sit down to feed baby.
Everywhere else was packed, still had a wait a little though. Ended up trying the lunch special which was barely okay. Nice location, but don’t remember anything else worth mentioning.

The food and service is good but I am expecting a bigger serving to match the price of each dish. I would love the beef stir fry and braised pork belly to be dry rather then watery. The road pork belly salad is great and not too sweet. I would like to try the other dish on my next visit.

Honestly the food was pretty good, pork belly was crispy and the betel leaves were tasty.
Serving sizes slightly underwhelming for the price.
But the down-side was the waiting;
- firstly, upon entry and throughout ordering we struggled to hear a word the waitresses spoke,
- unfortunately they were sold out of a few particular items, which is of course not their fault, however it was poorly communicated to us, where our first order was sold out and we only discovered this upon ordering, then when we were given an extra few minutes to make a new decision, our second and then third preferences were also sold out.
After a 20 minute line wait on a Friday night, a simple mention at the start of dinner or in the line out front would have sufficed and upgraded the rating to a 4/5.

My all time favourite place for chicken pho! The flavour is fresh, amazing and clean, and I love having the poached chicken breast served in slices on top.
The staff are always so lovely and wonderful and make me feel at home. Thanks to Twan, Nat and the team, you guys are superb:) :)

Chill atmosphere with fusion of modern design. Staffs were friendly but service was slow. Took sometime for each menu turnover. We had the shared banquet ($46 per person) excludes drinks. To be honest, the entrée was generous. It has coconut prawn, fried chicken, spring rolls and a bit of salad - it was like a main meal! The mains were alright - nothing exceptional. We love the asian broccoli stir fried though - it’s a must try! For desert was Vietnamese Coffee Crème Brûlée which doesn’t suit our palates. We’re a family of sweet tooth but this one is definitely a no for us. The mocktail (strawberry mojito), lack a little flavour but it’s not the worst I had. Generally, meals are appropriate for its costs. Would still consider coming back. Hopefully service is by that time will be upgraded. Still would recommend Mama’s Buoi to everyone.

Awesome food, awesome service. We will be back.

The manager on duty last night was NEXT LEVEL GOOD. Super friendly and accommodating. Even ran after me up an escalator as I'd left my keys behind!

Food was delish, we had the Feed Me banquet. Would highly recommend.

The resto was clean, modern and got a good atmosphere. We ordered Share Me banquet menu. The dishes were great. Not the traditional Vietnamese cuisine, bit of Thai, bit of Chinese taste. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall this was a great meal experience for us.

Amazing Pho, with plenty of ingredients, one of the best vegetarian pho I have had in Australia. Really worth the Chadstone price$.

You can get various vietnamese dishes in this place. Flavour profile is pretty good although it's been westernized a little bit. The broken rice is pretty good, the pork chop was juicy and tender. Chilli Clams was great too, it wasnt fishy and there's a bit of heat. Chicken Pho unfortunately was a little bland.

Tasty food but potions are extremely small, the crab fried rice is way too small for the price they charged, it’s not about adding more crab but at least they could have added more rice or vegetables etc. The same dish with chicken had more portion than in the crab fired rice. Disappointed!

We were off to the movies and Mama’s Buoi was close by. We were intrigued by the plates of food of diners and the smells coming from here. I appreciate that we were seated and attended to promptly. The staff were very kind and courteous.

The compliments end there. I love Vietnamese food in particular. The staff asked if we wanted the food together, and we said yes. The food arrived separately.

First was the $24 Vermicelli salad with grilled chicken. Typically, when I order at any restaurant, they have the dressing separate but i assumed the fish sauce dressing was in it already so I dug in. I was pretty sure there was no dressing as the vermicelli, lettuce and cucumber have no flavour really. I asked if they had the dressing as it was bland and the staff insisted it was already in there, so okay.

Then the $8 for 4 half-sized spring rolls, with shredded lettuce which isn’t how it normally is served. The prawn spring roll is what it was, a prawn in a wrapper. You are supposed to wrap the spring roll with the lettuce so that was a struggle.

Here comes the $22 “mini” chilli clams, and I mean mini referring to portion size, although the clams were small as well. They could’ve easily charged me $15 for this diminutive dish, but it was at this point I realised they overpriced everything, even my $4 shot of Pepsi, whereas they could’ve given me the whole can or 250 mls of Pepsi.

If you want really delicious Vietnamese food, go to HOA TRAN in Springvale. Half the price and double the serving and quality.

I came here with my partner last week, we ordered a variety of entrees and mains, they were all very tasty! I have re-booked again for dinner after this evenings Chadstone shop!

This low rating was a reflection of the service I got tonight. It was the lack of attentiveness of staff. It started with waiting staff failing to come back to take our orders. Secondly, difficulty in getting them to look at our table for service.

In terms of food, taste and presentation were good.

I’m not a type of person leaving feedback on internet but Mama’s Buoi deserves all the praises and compliments.

I came here with the position not expecting too much since I believe all Viet Food is the same but the taste and the service here are exceptional!

Highly recommended

Excellent Vietnamese in Chadstone shopping centre. Eat here and pay with Liven -much better than at food court. Pho is good & consistent. Nice friendly service. Lunch specials are good value.

A beautiful experience at this upmarket and upscale Vietnamese fusion restaurant with brilliant decor.

This is not a quick eat, cheap Vietnamese joint. It's a fresh and modern dining restaurant with actual customer service. This is part of the experience of fusion flavours and the cuisine is cooked to order using traditional fire and wok techniques which I highly praise. This brings out a brilliant bbq flavour and keeping the meats tender.

There is an express $19 menu which includes mains and soft drink or hot tea. The soft drinks are also upscale with a bartender who makes the soft drink not bottled lemonade. But actual lemon and lime squeezed.

Overall very please with the flavours, exceptional value for the Vietnamese cuisine with customer service.
