Mama Le

The vibe of the restaurant is really cool. Food was absolutely delicious especially the pho rolls and chicken baos and the crème brûlée dessert was so perfectly crafted. Thank you for an awesome experience!

We were a group of ten for a birthday, 7 adults and 3 children. Adults received a glass of sparkling to 'cheers' the birthday girl. Meals were good- one said his entre of taco was the best meal he ever had. I had the goi salad- just wish they wouldnt chop the prawns in half to make it seem that there were more prawns.only 2.5 prawns (5 halves) for the goi salad at $29 is a little pricey for me. Service and surrounds were good. Too noisy and cold. Need to turn the thumping nightclub music down and turn the cooling off.

Great place for modern Vietnamese and fun cocktails. The Viet Cafe Espresso cocktail is a must! Had one experience of them forgetting our food but that was very quickly rectified!

A little gem tucked in the Kensington neighbourhood. Excellent food and cocktails with great hosts. Will come back again!

Had dinner with 5 friends and we ate the "feed me" which was great value for money. Kelly was our waitress and very helpful and attentive to our dietry needs. Cocktails we particularly delicious. Stand out food was the betel leaf entree.

The bao buns were excellent but the rest of the food was a bit average. It was also quite expensive. Seated in a dark section near the kitchen when there was plenty of seating upstairs. Lovely team members but not enough for me to go back.

Excellent food, cocktails and great service, in an atmosphere that is comparable to the best restaurants in town.

Have ordered their food from Uber eats the other day since I was hungry and had nothing else to eat at that time for dinner so I thought I should order some food from a restaurant that’s close to where I live.
The food was delicious and totally did not disappoint! Would order it again!

What a great experience, the staff were lovely, the food was delicious and so fast!
We had the “Feed me” menu and were in and out within an hour. Such a great combination of flavours and good portion sizes!
Wouldn’t have minded if we were given a knife to help cut up the food but apart from that great experience!

We did the feed me option - and the variety and size of portions was excellent, we rolled out of there. The only shame is that you can't do half vegetarian and half meat.

Absolutely delighted with our experience at Mama Le for hosting our baby shower! The venue was perfect – charming, spacious, and elegantly decorated. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the ambiance and how perfect it was for the occasion. But the real star of the show? The food! Every dish was a culinary masterpiece that left our taste buds dancing with joy. From juicy bao’s to the most amazing wings you will have in your life. Can’t stop thinking about them, seriously it’s an issue. Let’s just say it was a feast to remember. Huge thanks to Mama Le for making our baby shower a truly unforgettable and delicious celebration!

Mama Le is a must try for any foodie in Melbourne. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and so very warm. The whole menu is a must try but my personal favs are the chicken wings and baos. The team are also super friendly and welcoming. Mama Le is a hidden gem that definitely shines.

Fusion Vietnamese cuisine, good new addition to Kensington. Ample of street parking. Wheel chair friendly. Great service. Amazing cocktails, defo a place for a few drinks after work. Music can be loud.

We had the feed me option. Good volume of food and they were not bad but nothing really blew our mind.

Few feedbacks here and all minor:
- Garnish, I understand the need for garnish, but if the garnish overpowers the flavour and doesn't add to the aesthetic of the dish, then it really defeats the purpose. The thickly sliced spring onion isn't required on majority of the dishes.
- It's great to have two roast pork, beef and chicken dishes in a feedme option, but also doesn't really bring any variety.
- the roast pork crackling sticks to the teeth and leaves an unpleasant texture, needs to air dry better before roasting
- as a modern/fusion Vietnamese cuisine, would be nice to also see a Viet desert as an option

Amazing. We did the feed me menu did not disappoint. Food was fresh and great flavors plenty of food all left very full. Great atmosphere and staff are friendly

staff were very accommodating and checked up on us every now and then, food came out quickly.we ordered the feed me menu $60pp, highly recommend this as you get to try a range of different dishes.great for those that are indecisive

our favourites were the crispy pork bao, banh hoi and the viet goi salad! The crispy pork was amazingg.for dessert we had the sticky date pudding, definitely order this for dessert!

the feed me menu had us leaving super full and sooo satisfied, we loved it so much we couldn't stop talking about it the days after! Will definitely be coming back here!

If you're looking for a great Vietnamese restaurant then this is the place to go. Food was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault anything. We were well looked after by Calli and the team. Great food great service highly recommended
