A great place to get your car serviced, all staff are friendly and costs are explained/honest

Really disappointing experience. Took car in for service and had spark plugs replaced, got the car back and it started having issues. Took it to another mechanic who discovered a cracked spark plug. All responsibility denied by Malvern Tyre & Service. Not even an offer to refund the cracked spark plug I took in.

This place is an absolute joke!
Called in morning to confirm an inspection that was made on a car!
They didn’t know anything about it.
Got there, nobody in reception for 10 minutes, had to go to the back to approach one of the mechanic.
Got a call the car is ready to get picked up, arrived and 45 minutes later car still not ready!
This is by far the worst mechanic place. Came across!
Will never do business with them and will not recommend them to anyone l

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received here. The staff are friendly, the workmanship is excellent and they have kept me informed throughout. The work also came in under the quoted price.

I cannot rave about Michael and his team enough. It is SO hard to find reliable and genuine mechanics and Michael is the real deal! From ringing around the wreckers to find a part to save his clients some $$ to never ever passing judgement on a grossly overdue service. All the team is focussed on is providing the best customer service and giving you the best options for your car. There's no where else I'd ever go!

Fantastic service and knowledge. Suffered a puncture and despite being booked out Michael and his team fitted me in, fixed the problem and moreover educated me more about tyres and mine in particular than I would ever would have known. Definitely will be my/my family’s go to hereon for tyres and also all general car servicing

Got tyre puncture near this shop at around 5pm on Wed 17/08/22. I know the shop is closing soon. So i quickly walked in and asked politely to the guy to help me with puncture tyre so that I can purchase a new tyre, as an emergency. The guy at the shop pointed to the sign and said "look at that sign, what time is it now? " I said "I know, but can you help me with my tyre? " The guy used sarcastic attitude and used his finger pointed to the workshop and said "how to help you? " with his really bad attitude towards me. "if you need help, just call RACV! " I got really shock with this kind of attitude/customer service, so i replied "that's okay" then i drove to the other tyre shop in Malvern East with a puncture tyre which makes the whole car shaking. I was so scare an accident will happened to me as i was treated like i am a trouble maker.
I am writing this review is to let the owner and others know what happened to me as a customer. The guy's attitude/behavior at the shop towards me is not acceptable in every retail shop in the world. I admit the shop is at closing time when i need the help the most, puncture tyre + peak hour + princess highway and family members was waiting for me to purchase a medicine for the young baby when i get home. Really shocking bad attitude towards a customer who is genuine needed help.

After noticing my car was acting up, I put it in the very capable hands of Malvern Tyre & Service for various work and now it feels like it's a brand new car! The difference in driving it is incredible.
I will never take my car anywhere else! The team at Malvern Tyre & Service are very knowledgeable, honest, friendly and actually take the time to talk you through every detail so everything is transparent and understood.

Needed new tyres, bushes and headlights polished for a RWC. Dropped off Thursday avo, was told it'd be ready by Saturday but got a call Friday morning saying all done. Price very reasonable and awesome service. Will definitely come back for any future needs. Cheers Michael and gang!

Three months ago on the recommendation of Michael, the proprietor of this business, I had Hankook All Terrain tyres fitted to my 4WD ute.
Since then these tyres have twice kept me safe when other drivers have suddenly cut in front of me, and I'm so glad that I took Michael's advice to fit them to my ute.
I highly recommend this business for its professionalism, great service, and sensible prices; all achieved with no compromise on quality.
