Really cute place with great coffee, Portuguese tarts and tasteful bits and pieces for gifts.

Great ambience of a cozy Cafe combined with a wonderful selection of clothes, jewellery and gifts.

Mallalieu is a great local find. I just had to grab a jar of the delicious spicy pickles to take home for burger nights. They were a huge hit. Great food, great gifts, great service.

This Cafe is it. I don't think the experience gets much better. The staff are fantastic and they even helped me out with organising some catering for my mums birthday as I was leaving with my coffee after breakfast.

The space is beautiful and pet friendly. It's just such a nice environment to spend the morning. Fantastic Menu as well.

Cannot help revisiting

Great area, spacious both indoor and outdoor, stunning space & decorations.
Foods here are so delicious that keep me coming back (I haven’t tried any food from this place that I don’t end up not liking!)
And of course, the staff here are incredible and super kind 10/10 service for sure

Just returned home from an impromptu mid morning stop off. Took advantage of their pop up outdoor setting watching life on Auburn road go by. Hands down - BEST coffee I have had for a very long time! Also indulged in their Chicken & Dill Toastie. DELICIOUS! Wonderful and friendly staff as always. Thank you.

Literally stumbled on this little gem.absolutely sensational cheese board and delicious wine hidden in what appears to be a little gift shop.
Super Gluten Free friendly, in fact I think the GF alternative served with the cheese board was better than the standard.
Highly recommend popping in if you're passing by.

Nice looking cafe, nice food but if you are charging $13.50 for a gluten free ham and cheese toasted sandwich thats actually stupid, fair enough gluten free bread costs more but $13.50 is the cost of a meal.
When you stop taking advantage of people with allergies i could fix up the rating to something more in line with the rest of the cafe/ shop.

What an amazing place. We had breakfast & it was absolutely delicious. I had the pancakes & could have had more. My friends had eggs with bacon & they thoroughly enjoyed theirs as well.

Delightful cafe and shop. Inviting staff and delicious food including cakes and muffins baked in their kitchen. Lovely clothing and accessories in the shop. Coffee could have been a little hotter.

Lovely warm feeling as you walk through the door into provincial French fashion, cafe, deli with beautiful collections of home made relishes, gorgeous scarves, dresses, And cakes.

A stunning fern laden courtyard hard to believe so close to the city - an oasis away from the bussel outside.

It's one of the best local cafe/boutique. I have got some interesting pieces from their store. My recent purchase was a beautiful antique ladder that I use for displaying items in my living room.

A beautiful oasis, fabulous coffee, delicious food whether a little slice for morning tea or a little glass of wine with lunch, the staff are amazing and of course the providore of food and fashion compliment each other.

Great coffee, great food, great people all hidden away in Hawthorn! And although a tad early now to imbibe some really great wines!
