Malaysia Garden Restaurant reviews
68 Last years we had nasi lemak and fried chicken lemons its so delicious
The staff and the vibes so good.
The beef is tender and delicious; The sauce of the pancake with the curry chicken was delicious. The service is good.
Location is at Clayton hotel level 2. Food is not up to 4.4 stars standard. We ordered a ginger pork, lemon chicken, garlic kailan & claypot beancurd. The meats were too hard and taste like frozen meat.
Ice Kachang reasonably big serve for 2-3 to share but lacking in varieties and amount of bites content. Also no sight of the scope of vanilla ice cream
Never disappoints. We try laska regularly. One time I asked for spicy nasi goreng, which I wasn't expecting to be this spicy so be aware
This restaurant is on top of the pub. You have to enter through the main entrance of the hotel and go up the stairs. There is an elevator but I didn't use it so don't know if it works. The food was delicious, my girlfriend is Malaysian and it gets her tick of approval also.
Terrible food. Not enough sauce on honey chicken, so it was dry, like a piece of chicken in bread. Fried rice very average and the Hokkien Mee noodles all smooshed and the flavour was terrible.
I tried Loh mee.not the same as my expectation.i like it to be more peppery, but maybe they have other style of loh mee, quite possibly because they dont use that pork crackling skin. Other than that, quite satisfied with the portion and service they offer.
I have been coming here for years with my family and they never disappoint. The salt and pepper fried squid is nice and crispy, honey chicken is yummy and sweet and salted fish fried noodle is very filling.
The service is great too. Lots of tables to sit at and offered tea if you want. Definitely reccommend coming here.
Through the 20 plus years of dining here it never fails to please Authentic Malaysian love the Randang to the Spicy Baramandi very tasty and staff are always trying their best especially Jeff
We ordered a Hot Kopi, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Roti with curry chicken and fried ice cream at this modern restaurant. The Kopi went really well with our main meals. The Mee Goreng was one of the best noodles that we have tried in Melbourne with the perfect spice and portion. The Roti was flaky and sided well with the Chicken Curry which had spiced potatoes within it. The Nasi Goreng was also well proportioned and was spiced well. We had expected the fried ice cream to be a hot and cold dish but it was cold instead. Overall really good.
Great for groups. Portion size can be larger relative to value. Overall taste good and well presented.
One of my favourite place in Melbourne to enjoy a good Malaysian food. My number one is Combination Laksa.
The food was not spicy it was bloody hot. Never speak of the term ‘ Spicy’, they just empty chilli powder to your dish.
Ordered the beef satay, crispy chicken and the curry puffs. This was via the delivery app so It wasn't in the restaurant.
Beef satay was oily, the crispy chicken drenched the entire bag in oil, it wasn't crispy. The curry puffs where store bought, I actually have the same ones in my freezer.
No flavour at all, not worth it. Please consider new chefs or better food supervision if you're going to charge so much.
Most of all, I love the delicious food, kind services, affordable prices and Good location
It feels like eating the real deal in Malaysia
I shall be back soon
We went for dinner, Jeff was very friendly, we really appreciate the service and food so tasty. Highly recommended.
My new favourite place to eat amazing tastiest food and incredibly quick service! You won't regret it!
The food was average at best. We asked for Nasi goring less spicy and received fried rice that was bland. The waiter said that’s all they can do. They lasts tasted like soup, when we complained the waiter said other people liked so nothing he could do. Again. VERY DISAPPOINTING NOT RETURNING
