Excellent burgers and the best staff in Kyneton

I was a little disappointed my burger was over cooked and the chocolate brownie wasn't very fresh l expected a bit more considering the price

Funky little place in Piper St, Kyneton. One dimensional establishment serving chips and only hamburgers and hamburgers only. Booth and table seating and felt a bit squished in. Low lighting for evening dining. Apart from hamburgers they have only one other dish being nachos and on our visit they had run out of corn chips.lol.licensed premises with parking out the front. Chips are shoe string style which I personally hate. The hamburgers were tasty but how much variation on a hamburger can you do. Don't travel to visit. Staff were engaging, friendly and polite and young. Consider this to be a more upmarket hamburger only eat in venue, one step up from a fish and chip shop that has tables. Prices are reasonable, food tasty. We paid $43 for two hamburgers and share chips.

Great burger and bar joint with nice back courtyard and comfortable booths inside. Have a stage and would be great for intimate band performances. Lunch was very tasty and service friendly.

Fun burger joint. Very kid friendly. Cool music. Great staff and the burgers are VERY good. It is a touch of the hip Northern suburbs in Kyneton.

Thank you the food was amazing the staff were so helpful and polite it was my sons 21st Birthday only thing they didn't offer plates with his cake only napkins to eat off with his cake so we went home was disappointed

What has happened? The drinks are short, the food is banal, the chips not the same. You’ve got competition and need to get better not worse, and give value for money. On a night when everything else was booked out just before Xmas, you were half empty… Used to love you; want to again; please lift your game.

The food is amazing, always had exceptional customer service and the food comes out pretty quick.also a really great vibe and atmosphere.love the mood lighting

I'd love to maybe see some more vegan options, but the one I tried was really good. Would definitely love to come back again

Major toms can really be up and down, but mostly down in my eyes and actually my latest experience really annoyed me to the point of never bothering to eat there at all ever again.
My first experience was eating the chicken burger which gave myself and my daughter food poisoning, then after that we ordered take away on another occasion because we thought it was a one off thing, no I was wrong, we ordered 2 burgers and fries, got home from driving into and out of town (which is a 30 min trip there and back) and found all we had was 4 large chips! Rang and they had there live music playing and the kitchen was closed (too much emphasis on music in such a small venue, make up your mind are you a Burger bar or are you a live music venue?) they took our account details and said they would Refund our meal, I really don’t know if that happened or not tbh.

Major Toms has good things going for it but like most of Kyneton food stores they want to charge Melbourne prices and deliver mediocrity.

Amazingly delicious hamburger. Australian style, fresh crispy salad, perfect soft fried egg and a delicious soft bun. I am so going back here.

Food quality was alright, for those who received their order.and for those who didn't, well the kitchens closed so too bad.dine in wait took about 45 minutes to arrive after the order was placed, but the place was packed so its to be expected.
