Main Street Cafe

The best lasagna I have ever had. So full I needed to have my desert as take away. I had the mango orange banana cake it was delicious. Two other desserts looked so good I decided I needed to have them as well. I haven't tried them yet but am looking forward to tomorrow when I get hungry again. No need for tea tonight

I arrived just as the kitchen was closing after lunch. They were able to preparing a delicious turkish bread sandwitch.
With out exception each staff member was friendly, obliging and welcoming. Highly reccomend

We had a beautiful breakfast of scrambled eggs with bacon. We enjoyed very much.
The ladies looking after us were very helpful.
I was pleasantly surprised with the half serves if you can't eat a big breakfast it was great for me. Will have breakfast there again.

These ricotta pancakes, omg. I ate them a month ago and can't stop thinking about them, and definitely haven't found anything remotely near as good. The honeycomb was a taste sensation. Not many meals I talk about this far after the event so had to leave a review.

My usual go to breakfast spot when I’m in town. Cosy, quiet vibe to ease into my work day with a strong espresso and tasty Huevas Rancheros. Always pleasant and friendly service from the ladies here. Be sure to visit and dine here.

Good place for a coffee in Benalla. Friendly customer service and interesting American themed restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. Good location in the centre of town. The food was a bit on the heavy side, with quite large portions, but the option to order a half-portion is a great extra.

Incredible cafe - We enjoyed every dishes we ordered here, and the ice coffee surprised us! The ice coffee is a bit different from what we normally had, quite delicious. We can see the chef and the team has put attention to details, very much appreciate the food and friendly staff there.
Strongly recommend the pull pork, onion ring and coleslaw slider, yum! We will come back again. Thank you!

Don't overlook this quirky and homestyle Cafe! The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the place is sparkling clean, and the food is generously portioned and tasty. Try the ricotta hotcakes- delicious!

The food at Main St Cafe was very tasty my friend and I ordered the rissoto which was special of the day it was well flavoured and generous in sizing. Their staff were efficient and kind.

Have been here for lunch a few times and the service is always fantastic, staff are lovely and the food has been excellent every time

Okay food, bit pricey for what you get. Poor plating didn't make food look appealing. Poached eggs looked like they had been cooked in microwave and were overcooked

Pricey sweet corn fritters with bacon and a very unusual avocado salsa. No mention was made on the menu re something spicey in this dish.
The service was pleasant and efficient and coffee was good.

Arrived in the main street around 12.30 and thought we'd pop into a cafe for brunch. To our horror every cafe in Benalla has decided breakfast ends at 11.30am. We looked at a few bakeries and they had the usual pies, saugage rolls and cakes but nothing remotely brunch. We then stumbled onto the main street cafe. Sure breakfast had closed but they had amercian style food which was very brunch. Partner had a lovely corn fritter and I had a breakfast style steak sandwich. Highly recommended this place. It is kitted out inAmerican flags and football flags from Cleveland. Will be back.

Welcomed at the door to be seated.very friendly staff. Coffee was hot (not burning hot) and strong (not warm week Coffee)
Arrived for lunch we choose the Caesar salad and the Pastrami Tart.was the best Caesar I have had and the Tart was amazing

It's a great place to fill your needs. The food great, filling, we had fish and chips. Very nice batter. Good chips and fish lovely. Worth getting off the Hume.

What a find! We will definately put this on top of our "go to" cafe list when out for a drive. Delish food and the best latte we have had in Benalla. Friendly staff and spotless bathroom.we'll be back!

We were welcomed with a smile. Food was amazing. Big breakfast was very yummy. The fried tomatoes are amazing. Very lovely place we shall definitely be back.

Friendly service & good food. Attached to a fabulous homewares shop which was a nice surprise. Quality products very well presented.
