Main Ridge Dairy PTY Ltd. reviews
39We recently celebrated our daughter's 21st at Main Ridge Dairy. The setting, food, drinks and service were superb and made it a memorable occasion. Thankyou to Andy and the team
Good place to stop by when you're in the area. Nice, small selection of cheeses. A couple were not available on the day we visited as the cheeses weren't matured yet. Friendly staff which helped with recommendations. Dog-friendly too!
Absolutely delightful venue - adorable little Goat kids that played & ran around, then basked in the sun! Lovely food, great service, we will be back! Beautiful selection of sweet & savoury foods, using local produce, just what you need after a long drive.
Went here today and loved it. The kids are about one month old and so sweet. We went into the Cafe. Staff were lovely and friendly. We ordered a tasting platter along with a pomegranate tea and cuppachino. The cheese is amazing. Went home with some and some other local produce.
Stunning location, cutest goats, most amazing accommodating friendly staff (even though they were very busy) and above all absolutely delicious cheese perfectly paired with a cheeky 11am wine!
Loved this place! Went there specifically because of Postcards and it didn’t disappoint. Had lunch there with great cheeses, wonderful service and a beautiful vista watching the baby goats playing in the paddock. Went home with plenty of produce purchased in their shop. Definitely would revisit again.
A strange experience, to attend a dairy for a milkshake to be told that the establishment had run out of milk (!). Looks very warm and inviting though, staff obviously doing their best on a public holiday weekend and a nice atmosphere inside. Maybe another time.
Amazing delicious food and atmosphere. Lemon merengue is the best. A must place to be seen.
Great food served by incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We shall definitely return!
Excellent service! The lady took time to explain the different types of cheese that was served.
The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. There were goats.
I would come back again in springtime with friends who are visiting Melbourne.
Andy was so helpful throughout the booking and preordering process for our large group. The cheeses were all absolutely delicious and the tasting notes were so helpful. The whole Main Ridge team was so warm and welcoming in accommodating our group and the double rainbow was the icing on the cake. Thanks all for a fabulous day
This was always a magnificent destination but now with Andy at the helm at Billies and a more relaxed, classic vibe, it’s just the place to relax with old friends and new over a glass of something and explore the dairy’s own goat cheeses.
And now, that toasty. Seriously the best gooey tasty crunchiness full of local savoury goodness I’ve had in eons.
The coffee is the best I’ve had…ever…. Long experience behind the coffee machine, European hospitality and a respect for milk that only comes from being on a productive dairy comes through with every sip.
I want this to be my local.
Located in Mornington Peninsula, Main Ridge Dairy served great coffee and cheese platters, although personally I loved their cookies more. Service was friendly and the ambiance was cosy. It’s a must visit when you’re in Mornington.
Goat farm specialising in cheese and milk. Very helpful with information. Cheese is excellent. Milkshakes (goatsmilk) very tasty. Coffee available.
We loved sharing a quality goat cheese platter. It was fun watching the kids feed the friendly goats.
Yummy cheese platter and lovely for the 2-legged kids to feed the 4-legged kids (and other goats).
The farm was beautiful and well kept. Goats were extremely cute and friendly, it was lovely to spend a day just petting them.
I also highly recommend having the coffee and delicious cheese.
Love it here, it's got a nice feel to it. Great to sample some cheese, enjoy a drink and then go see/pat the goats (and give them the leftover crackers from the cheese platter ️)
A great little stop off if in the area!
Unfortunately due to Covid we were not able to try and of the cheese platters. We bought a couple of the goats cheese and put together a platter at our holiday house. Great location and there were a few goats on-site also.
The day we visted very low on stock very disappointing. But will say this could be due to Corona restrictions
