Very nice coffee, food and cakes. Friendly staff, prompt service. Dog friendly outdoor seating in the courtyard.

All pleasant and good variety available but nothing stood out. Came for the coffee really and it is good.

Friendly service and delicious breakfast. Most ingredients are locally sourced and can be bought in their general store towards the back

Maids is my new Favourite for Breakfast, Lunch and Coffee. Service is excellent with such friendly staff, you can see people love working here. I could be judged as a Coffee Snob, Coffee is important to me and they don't disappoint. Coffee and Food is AMAZING. Such a win for us living on the Surf Coast

Love Maids! It ticks all the boxes! Had an amazing kids area and yummy food that my little one loves! I love the quality of both the meals and products in the store! I can go in sit down eat something yummy and leave with all I need to make a delicious meal for dinner (loved the porcini risotto pack and the cheeses!) or get some takeaway food and coffee on the go! Service is incredible! Have been multiple times and will be back!

Have been into the new Maids Cafe several times now and it’s consistently fantastic. The staff have been super friendly, and the made in house sourdough banana bread is so good, love that it is made with quality ingredients! Hoping for some chilli eggs or Huevos rancheros on the next breaky menu!

LOVING the new vibe of the General Store! The shop has the most wonderful quality, local and sustainability focused products and gifts. The coffee is 10/10 and the various cookies made in house have to be my favourite part of the whole experience! Can’t wait to see the summer food menu Thanks for the great service Maids Team!

Swell was non existent, so ended up here, had an excellent omelette, was not disappointed!

Driving on the Great Ocean Road, I passed by this small shop. The cold cooked salad and heated beef rolls were very delicious. The flat white was also delicious. The clerk was very kind and the souvenirs in the store were also great.

Great vibes, food and coffee, the new management has seriously given the old general store a glow-up! Delish menu for lunch with good veggie options as well as plenty of tasty looking treats in the cabinet for takeaway. Handmade pasta and focaccia fresh out of the oven was incredible. The staff are wonderful and the coffee is out of this world. Ocean Grind beans and one of the best baristas on the surf coast.lucky we live nearby because we can't wait to go back!
