Maiaveda Holistic Day Spa

I had an amazing experience in Maiaveda. Hands down the best, most caring and nurturing massage I have received. Beautiful, inspiring funky environment. It is rare these days that people create the space and provide services to people with such a genuine care. There should be at least one in every city.

Marye looked after me today and I had the most amazing spa ritual experience. If you are looking for somewhere to feel nurtured, energised and healed then this is the place! Marye used the most amazing products for my facial and massage, she’s a very experienced healer and any pain you have will quickly melt away. The best massage/facial I’ve had and I’d highly recommend seeing Marye for a truly special and sensory experience. You will be welcomed by a lovely ambiance and Marye’s friendly and nurturing demeanour will make you feel completely at ease. Do yourself a favour and book in or treat a loved one!

I happen on this place about a month back and had the best massage of my life (thanks Tara!). I headed back there for a couple nights stay just to have more treatments. I’ve now had an incredible facial, another massage and a hand and foot treatment. This little treasure is unique and fantastic and will probably make me a Kyneton regular!

I have been here years ago and again just recently. Genevieve was my massage therapist and held a safe and beautiful space for my 90 minutes Maiaveda signature massage. Absolute bliss and restoration. Highly recommend here.

From my first email enquiry I felt like a special customer. And my first appointment was everything I had hoped for and more. I was nurtured and held and left feeling invincible! Will I be a frequent flyer? Helll yeah! I highly recommend this unique and welcoming place.

I booked a retreat with Maiaveda with some things I wanted to sort out within myself, I’d never experienced Ayurveda before and didn’t really know what to expect.

The staff at Maiaveda took me in like a son and opened me up to areas of myself that i hadn’t known how to navigate beforehand.

I’m about to check out of the cottage tomorrow and am already thinking when I’d like to return for a longer stay.

I have thought long and hard about this review, but all I can say it has changed my life. I booked in a much needed stay just after easter this year. I booked a two night stay and was a little worried about spending money on me or doing something for myself, but it has been the best money I have ever spent. Marye and team were incredible as soon as Marye hugged me I knew I was in good hands. Every treatment was incredible, and things got very emotional on the second day. I didn’t realise how much I needed to be “broken” and how much of an issue I had being alone and sitting in silence. You know when you know, and you need help that is a little different. My body and my mind are so different now, I don’t feel like my mind is constantly on, I feel so calm and relaxed, and I am ready for everything that life has to throw at me. I had a facial but it was sooooo much more than that. Sylvia was fantastic. She knew exactly what she was doing and made the experience wonderful. Will definitely go back again.

I have been to Maiaveda twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely wonderful. Both times I have had the signature massage and it is probably the best massage I have ever had. You will leave feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated, it is utter bliss. I told my husband that for any future gifts for me all he needs to do get a voucher for more massages! Highly recommend!

It’s taken me almost a week to think of the words to describe my experience at Maiaveda. I was in a place I had never been before after a very challenging 18 month project. I was burnt out, riddled with stress and anxiety and wondering what next but with no confidence or energy to do much about it. Feeling this way, was a really tough pill to swallow as I am a resilient, strong woman and weathered a lot in my life. So I knew I needed to take action and I was sure it had to be focusing inward and spending time just on me. I had originally been seeking a group retreat that targeted mind, body and soul in their offerings but timing was never right or it was just a fancy resort with good food and spa treatments – I was looking for more. I came across Maiaveda and saw they offered personal 1: 1 retreats, which was not quite what I wanted but everything else was perfect. I kept coming back to their page as I was really drawn to Mayre’s offerings. From the moment I called (and yes, there was a tear or three), Mayre was so accommodating finding me 3 nights within a week in a time where they were heavily booked and I was beyond grateful. I felt such a loving and genuine connection with Mayre immediately and I knew I had called the right place. When you enter Maiaveda, you literally feel like you are in a cocoon of love, warmth, care and acceptance. Every practitioner I worked with had a loving, warm energy about them and all genuinely there to care and look after you. Mayre put together a wonderful package for me – a mix of foot baths, facials, daily massage, shirodhara, reiki, sound healing, energy healing, yoga and meditation and I would not have changed a single element of it. The food was incredible and I also learnt more about Ayurveda and how I can better balance myself through food, movement and breath. I came away feeling like so much had shifted in me and that I was truly centered again, back in alignment, deeply relaxed and more focused than I have been in months. I have my mojo back and already embedding some of the learnings I took away with me so I can continue to keep myself in balance and to minimize fatigue and stress into the future. Thank you again Maiaveda for a truly wonderful experience. I will certainly return for a top up visit as I need it xx

The care and love I received from the very moment I was welcomed into Maiaveda was exactly what I needed. Marye offered guidance and wisdom to help me uncover blocks in my physical, mental and spiritual health. From there she worked on a tailored treatment plan that included the most blissful massages and ayurvedic treatments! Marye, your help guided me to find my happy centre again, and I have returned home more content than I have felt in a loooong time. Thankyou so much!

Everyone should experience this with Marye. It's actually beyond what words can describe. The space was cosy and Marye emanates nurture. For me, she was able to facilitate me accessing being actually and fully present, and that moment is indescribable. The most exceptional experience. I had a 3 hour package and I have to say it was a treatment like no other. It started off with a foot soak, breathing and some chants followed off by the most amazing massage, reflexology and some reiki. I floated out on cloud 9. I could not recommend enough to spoil yourself. I also got some great tips on health and wellbeing. I will definitely be back very soon and have been telling all of my friends.
