Mahogany Motel

It's good to stay for a night or two but not more. There is no kitchen, no knife to cut fruits.

Had some friends stay here while they were visiting me, they couldn't stop talking about how clean the rooms were

I was blessed to find the Mahogany for my 2 recent works trips over a total of 6 weeks.
Marty, Steve and Steph made me feel like part of their family straight away.
They were always very quick to respond to questions or requests and were an awesome resource for getting to know Warrnambool.
Marty makes delicious breakfasts and home made kombucha from Steve - awesome!
Thank you so much for making my work trips so easy and stress free.

The Motel was also pet friendly which was incredible so Missy and Gemma got to travel with me - rare and priceless opportunity.

This place is so close to all the main shops and next to a Service Station. Literally walking distance to the shopping centre. The rooms were nice and cosy.

Very clean updated apartments, comfortable bed definitely well rested after being in the car travelling all day also amazing to have a functional kitchen to cook in instead of eating servo food

Had I known there would have been a maze of steps to traverse to get to my room, I would have advised I have a medical condition, which I do. The walkway is also a bit uneven, so when coming off the steps you need to be careful. The parking lot is cramped and with a few larger trucks, it was a tight squeeze.
The room was okay, but I wouldn't stay there again. The carpet was dirty as was the floor/grout in the bathroom. The curtains were such that they allowed heaps of light into the room. Not ideal for sleeping. The pillows were a bit scary. Luckily I brought my own. I did like the keyless entry though! Just don't lose the card or forget your code! I doubt I would pick this hotel to stay at again. A bit pricy for the condition of the room.

I get to experience the best of my time there. Thank you so much. Everything was perfect for a short stay. Just if you enhance the WiFi signal for rooms 14-15, that would be great- we couldn't connect to the Internet.

Location, location! Wow what a gem of a hotel in the heart of Warrnambool. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you & the room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel was set back from the highway so very quiet of a night time to sleep. The after hours checkin went smoothly & it was a short walk to restaurants, the Main Street & supermarket.
I am a travel agent and would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Warrnambool. It’s a great little 3 star hotel and reasonably priced. Thanks Marty and Steve we will be back!

We stayed in a family room, the room was generously spacious, lovely and clean, the property is very well looked after, and the host and the staff are very friendly and accomodating.

Marty the owner made me and my cat Archie very welcome! The room had all we needed! It was warm and cosy! The staff friendly! Highly recommend you stay at the mahogany motel! Your made so welcome! Thankyou again mahogany you are highly recommended!

I had the best time at Mahogany motel. I came to Warrnambool for my placement and to stay there for 5 weeks and I end up staying more than three months. Owner John and Sue were amazing hosts and can’t forget Diesel, lovely dogo. Really cozy place, clean, fantastic location close to all the main places in Warrnambool, safe, excellent & friendly service and reasonable price. Thank you so much John and Sue for your friendly service and support, Ohh I miss you guys already. I highly recommend this Motel without any doubt.

Being the quiet type of person, as I like to keep to myself. I get to experience the best of my time there! Jon and Sue have been the best of their respects! They always greeted me kindly, just like they would treat near anyone and everybody they meet!

John and Sue (and diesel can't forget him he's a big baby I love him) are absolutely amazing.
Myself and my children are going through some complex personal issues atm and they've gone above and beyond to make sure that not only myself but my babies feel welcomed and safe here. The rooms well as soon I walked in it had this home like feeling but also being underground feeling too (which you kind of are) it was like the walls were saying "you're safe now" and I know that's weird but yeah I just feel at so much ease here.

Room was clean. Could do with a goid sweep and clean around the motel. Needs lights when going up/down the stairs at night. Abit unsafe when carrying luggage.

Not a place suitable any one with mobility problems. Once into the room, size wise great. Parking cramped. Very much a budget hotel.

Really inviting and cozy space, especially with the outdoor garden and play ground area! Rooms were a perfect size for what we needed (3 adults). Lovely staff also

Highly recommend this motel. Starting with the owners, nothing is too much trouble. The location is fantastic. Also John offered us some attractions to see & do and even places to eat, thank you for the opportunity to review.

Very friendly staff rooms were very decently priced and clean room was also decently sized and plenty of space for belongings

Had a moment of truth. Great location easy to walk around, close to drive around the shops, cafe, site seeing etc.

What a rude pig of a man. I had a horrible stay John is very intrusive and helps himself to your room while your not there. The rooms are very small.
