Ria from Maharaja was amazing in helping us had a good time with Family, food was amazing!
Came to celebrate a friend's 50 th. The service and food were amazing.and so was the attention to detail re: clearing tables etc.
We had our function here recently. Foods were really good. Service is topnotch, the manager and staffs looked after the guests very well. You win our hearts! Thank you so much. Highly recommended. ️
Really liked the atmosphere and the whole thing was great. Got great treatment from everyone in the staff especially from Payal
Excellent food, service and atmosphere of Maharaja restaurant (Excellent service by Divyansh sharma)
The food was really nice and the service was excellent. Thank you for such a good service.
Fantastic service, Foods were delicious
Highly recommended for small to big capacity functions
Very enjoyable. Esp appreciated being seated in the dining car/train - quieter there friend who has hearing problems.
Great food, service standards and ambience. Staff is very accommodating too. Definitely recommend for functions.
Quality of products used to make biryani is good how ever final biryani product is not up to the mark. The rice is broken and doesn't taste much like a chef made biryani. Please make some changes to preparation of biryani. Thank you
Attended a birthday party her, was amazed by the service and food. They serve the best food in Melbourne. There Chilli paneer was amazing.
Would recommend to everyone definitely
Attended party function food quality was substandard, pros- staff is maintaining hygiene, cons - food is disappointing, would not recommend this branch.
Great communication, amazing customer service, great food, caring and understanding staff… amazing ambience and facilities… couldn’t have asked for more… keep up the standards
Our take away local and go-to for Indian food through COVID iso! Wide variety of innovative and authentic paneers (perfect for vegetarians) as well as tasty meat dishes.
Affordable as well plus discounts when you order directly from their website (maharajaonline.com.au) + no delivery fee.
My new favourite Indian restaurant. The menu includes local favourites and executes them well. Great veg/vegan options which always have fresh ingredients and the Samosa Chat is one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Cannot recommend enough.
Went in to place an order only to wait 20 minutes at reception and call multiple times without being met by anyone
After making my order online for pickup I hear nothing back from the restaurant about when the food will be ready. I then proceed to call 5 times before the phone is rudely answered. My food is ready apparently so I go to pick up after almost an hour of no contact. The staff member was rude when I asked why I wasn’t contacted and then when I get home I find my order is wrong and cold. They gave me a curry instead of the entree I ordered! Food is ok but definitely not worth the hassle. Takeaway is supposed to be a stress free treat!
Maharaja restaurant have been leaving their overflowing bins on Elm Street in Northcote for a number of years. Dirty rubbish and litter spill onto Elm Street consistently because of this business. This is of concern and is a health hazard for residents and particularly pedestrians that can slip and fall because their bins are left out on the street a week in advance prior to bin collection. If they are as dirty as they are leaving rubbish on a residential street we can just imagine how dirty they would be in the restaurant and function centre.
