Very peaceful. The interior is definitely a bit weathered. That said, the location is gorgeous. Very relaxing and close to the hit springs and other amenities.

A lovely place to stay. Secluded. Excellent for your beloved pets. It really is a little haven. We will be back.

Tidy, clean, quick response to booking a couple of days prior. Friendly and easy process. Lovely spot, very close to main town. Private and good size.

Staff were friendly & efficient. Room was nice & everything ready for us when we arrived. We even had chocolates set out beautifully on bed which were a huge hit with our teenage girls

Fantastic hosts who go above and beyond in ensuring a covid safe environment to relax and holiday in one of their cottages. Our 11th year of holidays here with pet dog Maggie and seeing eye dog pups in training!

Lovely quaint cottage. Spent Australia Day weekend there and it was a delight to inhabit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a getaway.

Our family enjoyed the comfortable stay at Maeburn Cottage Number One. We liked the front view, the sunny deck from the morning til afternoon and the secure backyard for our dogs. We liked the short distance walks to the lake and to the village centre. We always looked forward to our cottage after a great and active day in Metung and surroundings. We will book Maeburn Cottages in Metung again and can recommend this dog friendly accommodation to everyone who loves holidaying with their dogs.

Fantastic place, lovely host! My family and my puppy stayed there at the beginning of September and the cottage is so warm and cozy that we stayed indoors during the the wet and cold period. My puppy had a lot of fun at the fenced backyard with so many sights and sounds. I cannot recommend this place enough. So when you are finding a pet friendly place to stay in beautiful Metung, look no further than Maeburn Cottage.

We recently stayed in Cottage 3 for a few days. The cottage was clean and comfortable, personally I thought that this Cottage was over furnished, the lounge area in particular, it may have been ok if you had a large family and needed extra sleeping arrangements. The grounds were well maintained and plenty of room for our little dog to wander around. I would stay there again with preference to stay in Cottage 4. Thank you to Dorothy and partner.
